Avalon Disc Golf Doubles @ George Wilson Park
About this tournament
Avalon Disc Golf is excited to bring you the Third Annual Smash for Cash at Windy Wilson! This is a bring your own partner doubles tournament at the beautiful George Wilson Park Disc Golf course. Avalon Disc Golf is hoping that you and your friends can come out for another fun, casual, tournament, with large CASH payouts to the winners! We are happy to announce that Avalon Disc Golf will again be ADDING CASH to the prize pot! This year, Avalon Disc Golf are providing new custom designed t-shirts as the players pack! There will be CTPs or LPs available on every hole. There will also be an optional ace pool and basket raffle (A 24 chain basket will be the main prize, however the raffle will include Avalon Disc Golf t-shirts, discs, and other items). Please note that instead of players meeting a Google document will be posted with course information and specific tournament details, with hole assignments being posted on the Google document by 8PM, June 24th.
Format:
The tournament is an unsanctioned event of 2 rounds, 24 holes each, of best shot doubles. The top 30% of the field will receive a CASH payout. There will be 3 divisions available, MA1 (advanced and intermediate), MA3 (recreational and novice), as well as a Mixed Division. There must be at least 4 teams in a division, otherwise they will be moved. Only ties for 1st place will enter into a playoff. We ask that you do not sandbag, please play in your proper division. You will be moved if you are playing lower than your PDGA rating. We reserve the right to move sandbaggers. We ask that you make sure that you have a UDisc account before checking in, as we will be using UDisc live scoring for this event and need everyone to have an account. Please note that the free version will work just fine.

We will be doing cashless registration all through Disc Golf Scene, however if there is an unusual circumstance please contact the team at Avalon Disc Golf and we will work something out. You will also have the option to purchase an Avalon Disc Golf custom t-shirt (to be provided the day of at check in). No refunds after 11 PM, June 24th, unless there are extreme circumstances.
