Austin Breweries Championship of Putting
Do you want to be crowned the champion putter of Central Texas?
The Hill Country Hyzers Disc Golf Club has partnered with Mint Discs and the Texas Chain Rattlers to create a unique putting championship at the Austin Beerworks Sprinkle Valley location.
We would like to thank our brewery partners:
● Austin Beerworks (Sprinkle Valley location)
● Live Oak Brewing
● Red Horn Brewery & Roastery (Scottsdale Dr. location)
You MUST qualify in order to compete in the finals.
Each partner putting league (Austin Beerworks - Sprinkle Valley, Live Oak Brewing, and Red Horn Brewery - Scottsdale Dr.) will conduct qualifying events over the next 6 weeks. Each location will select 6 qualifiers in each division for a total of 18 qualifiers in each division (before the LAST-CHANCE Qualifier on March 8).
Divisions with 3 players or less will receive one qualification spot.

❇️ Prize Pot: $1 from each qualifying round (before the Last-Chance Qualifier on March 8) will go to the finale payout (in each respective division).
❇️ Added Cash: Mint Discs will double the payout in each division (before the Last-Chance Qualifier on March 8).
❇️ Last-Chance Qualifier Round: 100% of each entry will go to the finale payout (in each respective division) as added cash.
❇️ Winners of the "BEG: Beginner" division will receive payouts in the form of MINT Discs gift cards.

LAST-CHANCE Qualifier
March 8 from 10 AM - 12 PM (flex start). Players MUST be finished by 1:00 PM.
● ABW Sprinkle Valley
● This final qualifier will be for the last 6 spots within each division.
The final 6 qualifiers will bring the grand total to 24 spots in each of the three divisions for the semi-finals, a total of 72 humans.
For the Last-Chance Qualifying Round: Please register on DGS (FREE) and bring $5 (cash, PayPal, or Venmo) to Sprinkle Valley on March 8.
⚠️ The event will be rain or shine. ⚠️
❇️ Divisions:
● FEM: Women - Ladies
● ADV: Advanced - (MPO, MA1, MA2) You make MORE than 50% of putts from 25 feet.
● BEG: Beginner - (MA2, MA3, MA4) You make LESS than 50% of putts from 25 feet.
❇️ Scoring:
● Scoring will be done on the UDisc app under the “Events” tab.
● Please find the specific event: “Austin Brewery Championships” and keep score within that event.
● Please download UDisc in advance and create a FREE account, if you do not already have one.
● Please ensure your username is your REAL name, so we can contact you for payout.
❇️ Sprinkle Valley Putting Course Rules:
● One contact point MUST be on one of the pavers. The other contact point must form a legal stance.
● No jump putts.
❇️ Last-Chance Qualifying Round
● Divisions: 1 female division, 2 mixed divisions
● Card size: Players must form groups of 3-5
● Putting course = 18 holes
● Format: 2 putts per hole x 18 holes = 36 putts
⚠️ Players MUST alternate shots. Do NOT take consecutive shots. ⚠️
⚠️ No double-down! ⚠️
● Lowest score in each division wins.
● Ties will be broken with a sudden death playoff, starting on hole 1 at 1:10 PM. You must be present at this time, or you will forfeit your spot. Players will complete each hole (2 putts).
❇️ Scoring Format:
● Make 2 of 2: score a 2
● Make 1 of 2: score a 3
● Make 0 of 2: score a 4

SEMI-FINALS ~ 1:30 PM
❇️ This round will be 2 rounds of 18 holes (36 holes total) with a short (hydration) break of 15 minutes between the two rounds.
❇️ Players will be regrouped after round 1, according to score.
❇️ The lowest 4 scores in each division will move on to the finals.
❇️ All ties will result in a sudden-death playoff on hole 1. Players will complete each hole (2 putts).

FINALS ~ 4:30 PM
❇️ This round MAY be filmed.
❇️ The final round will be 18 holes of stroke play between the top 4 finalists within each division.
❇️ Scores WILL NOT reset after the semifinals.
❇️ The lowest score in each division will crown the 3 champion putters of Central Texas.
❇️ Ties for 1st place will result in a sudden-death playoff on hole 1. Players will complete each hole (2 putts).
❇️ Payout Breakdown per Division:
● 1st Place: 50%
● 2nd Place: 30%
● 3rd Place: 15%
● 4th Place: 5%
