Hi Richard
How was the payout being handled? I placed but had to leave. Thanks for a great tournament and putting in the hard work. Always enjoy your tournaments.

Hi Rich, for day 2, are division tee time slots staying the same or flipping? Trying to decide Saturday night plans and knowing if I’ll be in the morning slot again or afternoon tee times helps. Thanks!

Hi Rich. I can’t make it. I will opt out and ask for a refund. Next year I will try to sign up in time. Have fun this weekend.

Ok, hopefully everything will be better next year and I will be able to greatly expand the number of people I can let in

David Anthony Snider    April 22, 2021 at 9:00pm

Also could you specify on all the par 4’s on the course , so hole 5 is now a par 4, and 13 and 14? Is there any more ? Is 13?

Richard Poplin   April 22, 2021 at 11:12pm

Hole 5, 7, 8, 12, 13, and 16

David Anthony Snider    April 22, 2021 at 8:45pm

Tee 5, is going to 6’s basket , is the pad 6 going to the same pin?

Richard Poplin   April 22, 2021 at 8:51pm

We will not be using the tee pad for hole 6 in the tournament

Is the course closed this weekend? We were heading up to Sacto to practice all the courses for the women’s major. Happy to play at the end of the day Saturday if it’s possible. Thx.

Nick Garcia    April 18, 2021 at 1:16am

Richard,

Doesn't look like anymore players will drop from my field. Please refund the entry fee. Thank you.

Richard Poplin   April 19, 2021 at 2:46pm

Okay, sorry we couldn’t field more players

Richard Poplin    April 14, 2021 at 10:01pm

I will also be sticking with my plan on division order for tee times, it will go MP60, MP50, MP40, MPO, FP40, FPO. Both days will be the same, plan accordingly

Thanks Ritch!

Richard Poplin    April 14, 2021 at 9:46pm

the course will be set up from now till the tournament in the open layout, if you go out to practice you shoot hole 5 tee to 6 basket and there is a temp hole in between 13 & 14, the tee is a little ways past 13s basket next to a picnic table and is marked on the ground next to the path with green paint and the letter A

Hey Rich, Wonder when we will know about wait List ?

Richard Poplin   April 14, 2021 at 6:38pm

The only way to get in off the wait list is if someone drops out, everyone that doesn’t get in by Friday at 5 before the tournament will get a full refund

Edward Poynor   April 15, 2021 at 1:51am

Trying to get time off in that short of time is impossible . I will just try next year . Can i please get a refund . thanks

Richard Poplin   April 15, 2021 at 9:52pm

You got it, sorry I can’t field more players

Ron "Skull" Brown    April 10, 2021 at 1:00am

Jett Livingston    March 19, 2021 at 11:40pm

Will the Auburn Open and Auburn Amateur be the same 18-Hole layout, or will pins be harder for the Open?

Richard Poplin   March 20, 2021 at 12:24am

harder for the open, the open is usually the hardest pin placement on each hole with some exceptions for holes that share spots

Jett Livingston   March 20, 2021 at 9:54am

Sweet

Richard Koski    March 8, 2021 at 8:46pm

7am start even with daylight savings kicked in?

Richard Poplin   March 8, 2021 at 8:52pm

The sun will be up by 7

Richard Koski   March 8, 2021 at 10:19pm

Not really my point. A later start helps players coming from out of town a little.

Armando Lopez Jr    March 5, 2021 at 8:48pm

Richard - Will there be extra holes or the standard 18?
Thanks for putting this on!

Richard Poplin   March 5, 2021 at 11:59pm

the plan as it stands is that we will just have 18 hole rounds for the open event

Armando Lopez Jr   March 6, 2021 at 3:56am

Thanks
