Welcome to Athena’s Owls, an all-women event, at Dacey Disc Golf!! This tournament is part of the NEWDG’s Queen of the North East series.
I am very excited to host this tournament for the third year in a row! The tentative schedule for the day is listed here but subject to change.
This tournament will be a NEFA event!
We are working on offering a lunch option to preorder during check-in. We will be taking orders at check in for lunch from a local deli, Dacey Market and offering a few sandwich and wrap options. Cash is preferred but PayPal is also accepted.
All amateur players will receive a player’s pack.
This event has been a success the last two years, and we are officially a B- tier! There will be $1,00 added cash!!! $750 added cash for the pro purse, and I will personally be adding an extra $250 for AM funny money payouts as well!
Professionals will be paid out in cash via PayPal and amateur players will be competing for funny money to Disc Golf 978 which will be paid out by Scott and can be redeemed online or in store at the new store located at Meadowbrook Orchards. PLEASE make sure your paypal email information is correct before the tournament to ensure smooth payouts.
There will be CTP prizes based on divisions, as well as trophies for the winners. All first place winners will receive a trophy in divisions with more than 3 women, as well as a crown. Second and third place winners will also receive a crown. Divisions with 2 women or less will receive a crown. If you are the only one in your division, you will be getting a crown. Get your friends to sign up if you’re the only one in your division and can play for a trophy as well!
FPO, FA1, FA2, will be playing both rounds from blues.
FA40+, FA50+, FA60+, FA3, FA4, will be playing both rounds from whites. Hole 2 and 16 whites are now being played from the blue tee pads. All white tee pads are marked with white flags.
12 whites tee pad is moved back and to the right. The new tee is in and ready for practice, marked with white flags.
Juniors will be playing one round in the morning from whites!
We are so excited for this event, and hope you are too!!

Do you have to be part of NEFA to join the tournament?
I played un two of the queen of the northeast series last year
no you do not need to be! all of the QNE events are nefa events, but you do not need to be a nefa member to play in them.
Ok awesome i believe I'll be in CT visiting then
we would love to have you if you are in the area and can come up to franklin for this event!
