Westchester Disc Golf Enthusiasts and Women of WeDGE are proud to present Artemis Unchained - the second annual women's tournament at FDR State Park. We are excited to celebrate women's disc golf and sisterhood with you as we grow the sport together! Channel your inner goddess and join us on the hunt for the chains!
Saturday, September 17: Pro + Am C Tier
Two rounds, stroke play.
Payouts for Professional Divisions will be handled via PayPal. Added cash TBD. Currently $100 added cash, but expect that to grow!
Amateur Divisions play for trophies.
Ace Pot: optional, $2 (sponsors may donate $2 if they desire!)
We have an exciting player's pack planned and lots of prizes, including a raffle and the return of the Field of Dreams!
Please note: Round one will consist of MIXED cards in order to help with speed of play, allow veteran players to help new players with PDGA rules, and to promote meeting other ladies players might otherwise not have the chance to play with!
LAYOUTS:
Round 1:
-All 18-hole divisions play short layout (yellow baskets).
-Some tees may be shortened for FA4, RAG, and FJ12 players
Round 2:
-FPO, FP40 play long layout (white baskets)
-FA1, FA40, FA2 play short front, long back
-FA3, FA4, FJ15 play short layout (yellow baskets)
-RAG & FJ12 play Ace Place (optional, fun round not counted towards final score - but with prizes!)
Artemis Unchained offers TWO divisions for women with little to no tournament experience:
-Women who would like to play two rounds of 18 holes should sign up for NOVICE (FA4)
-Women who would like to play only one round of 18 holes should sign up for PURPLE (RAG)
Both divisions are geared towards women who are new to the sport, and want to give the tournament experience a try!! However, please honestly assess your ability! If two rounds of 18 will be a struggle for you, please sign up for the purple division! All ladies who sign up for a one round division will have the opportunity to play a second round for fun and prizes only at the FDR ace place!
PDGA MEMBERSHIP:
Not a current member of the PDGA? No extra fee to play Artemis Unchained! Your non-current PDGA member fee (usually $10) has been covered by WeDGE and PDGA Competition Endowment Program.
CADDIES:
Player's are welcome to bring a caddy to the event! Caddies who would like to receive an official caddy shirt (featuring tournament artwork!) should select the CAD division in registration and select their tee shirt size. Caddy registration is not required unless a tee shirt is desired.
Want to be a part of the tournament, but can't make the event? No problem! We have several sponsorship opportunities! Simply select the division YAY from the registration page, and advance to the additional items section, where you will find:
HOLE SPONSORSHIPS:
For $25 become a hole sponsor! You'll get a digital copy of your sponsorship sign as well as shout-outs on our social media and at the event. Use the opportunity to advertise your business, or just to broadcast your support for the women of disc golf!
FUNDRAISER POSTER:
For $15 you will receive a full color 11x17 print of the official artwork designed by Justin Lago, which you can see featured as the flyer in the about section of discgolfscene. Players or sponsors who select this option will receive poster at registration. If you are not attending the event and need to have your poster mailed, please contact Andi Romansky directly.
TOURNAMENT SPONSOR:
Donors who donate either $100 in cash or $200 or more in merchandise or more are considered tournament sponsors! In addition to a personal shout out of gratitude at the player's meeting, these sponsors will be listed on signs at tournament central and near the first tee, as well as in our player's pamphlet.
GROW THE SPORT DONATION:
Want to chip in, but don't have the funds to make a big contribution? For $10 you can be one of our shining stars and we will thank you in the player's pamphlet!

Refund policy
WeDGE - Westchester Disc Golf Enthusiasts is responsible for all refunds and cancellations. (Please contact Andi or Bara directly!
As per PDGA Manual 1.03 section F:
Players who do NOT officially request to withdraw from a registered spot playing in the event prior to the published closure of registration and waitlist replacements and don’t play (aka a no-show), forfeit their entry fee and do NOT receive a refund or player’s pack. This does NOT apply to a waitlist player; 1.03.B.
That said - If no one is on the waitlist to take your place, we will not deny you a player's pack.
