About this tournament
Thank you for clicking on the 1st Apollo’s Arrow Open. The location of this tournament is at beautiful Prince Gallitzin State Park disc golf course. In Mythology, Apollo wasn’t only the God of the Sun, he was also the God of Archery. This course was designed to challenge your marksmanship abilities. Hit your lines and overcome the challenges.
-Amateur Div.-
Player packs include a premium disc of choice (Discraft, MVP, Discmania, and Triology), a set of Nish bags, and 1 raffle ticket worth a $5 value. This is a trophy event from 1st to 4th. 1st and 2nd place will get a hand dyed 2.0 Eclipse Envy trophy from Spike Keystone. Merch bucks are an addition to how many people are in each division.
-Pro Div.-
Full cash payout. Trophies from 1st to 4th. Hand dyed 2.0 Eclipse Envy trophy for 1st and 2nd.
This is a two round tournament with an hour lunch break with raffles during and award ceremonies after 2nd round. I recommend bringing your own food so you don’t miss out on the raffles. If you choose not to, Noel’s is less than 5 mins from the course. CTP will be ran during 1st round.
-Amateur Div.-
Each Par 3 will have a bounty for each division. Hit metal from off the 1st throw, off the tee; you will reap the bounty. CTPs will only be during the 1st round. Each and every player has an opportunity to walk away with goodies or even cash.
If a division only has 3 or less people; it shall become terminated and then the participant(s) will go into the lower division. If there is a huge turnout and a long waitlist; it will become a two day event. MPO, FPO, MA1, FA1, MA 40+ will move to Sunday, the 15th.
If you would like to purchase additional raffle tickets to win prizes, you can do so through the registration page (during or after initial player registration). All the money for the raffle will be a donation into Prince Gallitzin Disc Golf Course for new tees, signs, and basket replacements.
If you are traveling, I recommend buying a camp site. Go to www.visitPAparks.com or call 1-888-PA-PARKS to purchase one.
Do you want the glory or do you want the goods? Your choice!
