About this tournament
Amateur World Doubles Championships was created and started by John Houck in 1991. This will be 25th year of this prestigious event and every year we are adding and making changes to make this the best Doubles Championship event in the world. Four of the top disc golf courses in the world are played to crown the Amateur World Doubles Champions! This year we are making some more changes to help in the success of the event. We've asked Straight Line Discs to run this year's event. The work and effort provided by the SLD team last year, has given John and the PDGA the confidence to run a top notch event. Mount Vernon and Franklin County are excited to provide the players with another competitive and fun event in 2015. Don't miss out on the action!
The 2015 Amateur World Doubles will be a True Amateur event. Every Amateur Team playing this event will receive a fantastic players pack, discounted green fees, dinner (Thursday Night) and tons of disc golf. On top of the great player pack value, we will also have Trophy payout for each division.
