Triple Play Records and the Watson Island Disc Golf Coalition are teaming up with Chipeta Golf Course and Alpine Bank to present the 2021 Grand Valley Classic. This disc golf event is a two day tournament for disc golfers of all skill levels. On Saturday May 22nd, players will play one full round on a temporary course at Chipeta Golf Course. On Sunday May 23rd, players will play one full round at Watson Island Disc Golf Course. A players awards ceremony will take place at Edgewater Brewery directly after the round on Sunday.
There are 3 pro divisions, including; Open, Master Pro 40+ and Master Pro 50+, as well as six amateur divisions, including; Advanced, Intermediate, Ladies advanced, ladies intermediate, Master Amateur 40+, Master Amateur 50+, Juniors (18 and under), and Junior Ladies (18 and under). The Pros will receive cash prizes and Amateurs will be awarded Triple Play CASH. A portion of these proceeds will be donated to Riversedge West.
Amateurs also receive a players pack with 2 discs, a mini, a tote bag, a koozie, a sticker, and more!
