A3 New Classic Tournament (Doubles)

" The Classic " will be supporting local charity and missions of community service initiatives. Since this year's tournament lands on 9/11 , we will be raising funds to support " First Responders". Funds raised will be donated to Gary Sinise Foundation and Ann Arbor FireFighters Charities.

Please note this park requires entry fee ( $10day) , carpooling is encouraged.

TOURNAMENT
1 Round of 18 Holes (Red Hawk East)

50/50 CTP: $5.00
ACE POOL: $5.00

REGISTRATION
No cashless pre-registration available. If tournament is not full will allow walk ups on day of.

PAYOUTS

AM: After deducting player pack , 20% towards fundraiser, the remainder will go towards division payouts.
All amateur payouts will be distributed as vouchers for A3Disc merchandise. The full payout must be collected at the time of redemption. No leftover payouts may be kept and no change will be given.

PLAYER PACKS: ( T shirt, disc towel and another disc related item valued at $50-60)

Raffle: We will be raffling bags( 3) , Pro signed disc, various items for the fundraiser.

ACE POOL
Ace Pool will payout at 80 % for any ace hit in the round, 20% is for our charity fundraiser.
...each ace will count as 1 share of the pot.
...if the Ace Pool is not hit, a CTP hole will be designated during the tournament and the pool will be paid out 50% to the winning player, rest will be donated to our charity fundraiser.

DIVISIONS
We will be working hard to balance the field of players and "bagging" will not be tolerated, so do not be surprised if you get moved up a division to better accommodate your level of play. We apply this process fairly and have very specific guidelines for our club’s events. If your division is unclear or you have questions regarding these guidelines, please contact Diane Racicot.

Also since we are running ladies single event at same time, we are not running mixed separate division, however if mixed wants to play you can but you will be playing as AM1-4 divisions since this event is unsanctioned and intent is to raise funds for first responder's..

FORMAT
Best Disc Doubles Rules
-Both players throw from each lie (starting with the tee shot), then the team chooses which of the resulting lies to continue play from, until the hole is completed.

-A team may take a reasonable amount of time to pick which lie they want before the 30-second play clock starts.

-A lie that is picked up without being marked is gone forever; the team must throw from the other lie. If the second lie is picked up, it must be replaced in accordance with PDGA rules. All lies must be marked according to PDGA rules.

-If the first player throws from the wrong lie, the second player must throw from that lie.

-In case of injury or disqualification, one partner may play alone, throwing one shot at each lie (essentially playing singles, no cali).

Ann Arbor Disc Induced Sports Club is responsible for all refunds/cancellations.
