AZDGA's Monthly Putter Challenge v3
About this tournament
That's right, putters only! Throwing putters, though it can be tricky, will show you the flaws in your form and teach you how a disc truly flies.
Sign up the day of the event onsite between 3:00 PM and 3:45 PM. We will make cards and send players out as they arrive to help beat the sundown. Last card off at 4:00 PM. The cost is $2 to play. Optional $4 for Pro/AM/ payout.
The goal of this event is to get players to practice throwing putter only rounds and reap the benefits of doing so. Whether you are a seasoned pro or a new to the sport, you surely have something to gain from throwing putter only rounds. During the event, you may throw as many different putter molds as you wish.
”Playing putter only rounds will help you throw your drivers faster.” Paul Mcbeth, 2019
- We are not shortening the holes as this is not designed to see how many birdies we can get, but instead, force us to throw multiple shots and angles with our putters.
If you have questions about a specific mold & whether it qualifies as a putter, search out the manufacturer & find out how they classify it. If the manufacturer's description classifies it as a putter, or putt & approach, then it qualifies. If not, then it cannot be used.
- We will play the south course
