Welcome to the first annual Aquidneck Disc Golf Club Charity Doubles Event. This event is to help raise funds and awareness for The Chikumbuso Project(
https://www.chikumbuso.com/). The Majority of the cost of entry will go towards donations for The Chikumbuso Project. This is meant to be a fairly light hearted fun best shot doubles event.
This is a doubles event. You will be responsible for choosing your partner. BOTH TEAMMATES must be signed up to the event. It is $50 per person, not per team. Please include your teammates name, as well as the name of your team, when registering. If BOTH TEAMMATES are not registered within 7 days of one another the first member may be REMOVED FROM REGISTRATION and will be refunded less processing fees.
When you first arrive at the property we will have a staff member direct you to parking. We ask that you please respect the property and refrain from damaging anything or littering, or in general being a turd.
This is our rough schedule. Lunch will be for one hour after last card returns after round 1. If we finish round 1 early, expect to start round 2 early.
9:00 AM Check in
10:00 AM 1st round tee off. This will be a shotgun Start, you will be assigned a hole number upon check in.
1:00pm: We will break for lunch. we suggest everyone brings food or makes plans. The location is not near any food vendors, and you will not have time to leave.
2:00pm 2nd round tee off.
In the event of a tie for 1st, second, or 3rd. We will have a playoff on holes 1 & 18 repeating.
2 meter rules is NOT in effect. 1 card member will be scoring via U disc, and 1 member will be scoring via pencil and paper. Please verify scores before turning them in.
Winnings: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place teams will receive trophies.
PLAYER PACKS, given to every registered player, A custom stamped disc with event logo from DD, towel, and koozie.
Ace pot is optional. If more than one ace occurs, ace pot will be split even between those who aced. Ace pot payout is 100%.
