Not gonna make it Sully. I'm an hour and a half away having car troubles. I know there's no refund option but just wanted to let you know. Thanks

Just got off the waitlist but discount for no player pack isn’t working? I still have to pay $50 for MA3. Lmk if this is correct. Looking forward to this weekend!
Michael Woizesko September 17, 2020 at 5:11pm
Any MA1 or MA2 spots available?
Jeff Shattuck September 16, 2020 at 6:36pm
I know a lot of work has been done at Freedom Center to include bridges. Does that mean I don't have to carry my cart across the creek anymore?
The toughest crossing for a cart is now at Franklin between 18 blue and the yellow basket's fairway. Still not bad.

Email reminders to waitlisters who were promoted to the registration list but who have not paid have gone out. After 8pm, anyone who has not paid will lose their spot to the next person on the divisional list.

Hi Mike, thanks again for all your work and updates on this. Really looking forward to the event. Any chance Sunday tee times will be sorted out soon to help with our weekend planning?
Steve, Sunday tee times will be dependent on performance, as required by the Competition Manual (with the exception that WVO players will remain grouped together). That said, because it's just the one card of you in MP40, it's extremely likely that you will tee off at the same time both days.
Chris roseboom September 16, 2020 at 2:17pm
Hey mike , the Roseboom boys (15u+18u) and I are planning to play a practice round at Franklin today. Which pads baskets should we be playing as juniors?
UDisc is almost certainly set to start on hole 1. The PDGA Digital Scorecard we will use for the tournament will begin on hole 6.
@Christopher Roseboom - in UDisc, once you select a course, you can select your starting hole - just set it to 6 and you're good to go.
Mike Cobb September 16, 2020 at 4:57am
I will no longer be able to make it out there this weekend, unfortunately. Can you drop me from the list and refund the entry fee?
Mike Sullivan September 15, 2020 at 5:48am
Players' meeting video is posted under the Videos tab and on YouTube.
Mike Sullivan September 14, 2020 at 1:11pm
Reminder: deadline for refunds is noon on Wednesday, September 16.
Hey there Mike, if I sign up for the tournament. Are all spots taken? Usually when it’s full, the registration option isn’t available.
The spots are all taken. You are able to sign up for the waitlist, which I see that you've done.

Will a caddie be allowed if they wear a mask, follow Covid distancing and pass the temperature testing and such?
Yes. Please be advised that any caddie behavior imputes to the player, so you are 100% responsible for the behavior of your caddie.

OB lines are painted at Clark's Run DGC. OB lines will not be painted at Franklin Park until Thursday, as the course is scheduled to be mowed on Wednesday.
Dustin Allen September 13, 2020 at 1:49am
Hey Sully, I notice you guys are doing check in and players packs on Friday. Im not going to make it out there on Friday. How do I go about checking in and player pack on Saturday?
John Fontana September 12, 2020 at 12:56pm
Hey Mike, I’m going to withdraw, thanks
Ryan Hutton September 11, 2020 at 3:31pm
I attended WVO. As a courtesy to others, I would like to withdraw from this event. Please send a refund. Good luck to those competing and stay safe!
Ryan, your withdrawal and refund has been processed. Thank you.

LoCo Open 9 COVID procedures update:
The only way to hold disc golf events during this pandemic is to commit to risk mitigation. We already are doing several things in that realm: tee times, 20 mins apart; curbside player pack pick-up and check in; digital scoring and no traditional tournament central; no player party or provided communal lunch; mask-wearing. Those are all methods by which we can mitigate risk.
Given the news that at least one WVO attendee has tested positive for COVID-1 ...

Tee times have been fairly radically altered. We are responding to the news of a positive COVID-19 test from at least one player at the past weekend's West Virginia Open.
More details tomorrow. We are taking steps to limit risk as much as is possible.
Matthew Mendenhall September 10, 2020 at 9:03pm
Please drop me from the event. Thanks.
Austin, I'm sorry I didn't respond, but I DID see this and was able to remove you from the tournament. I hope your car is all fixed and that things are better today.
