6th Annual Jon D. Misner Memorial Charity Doubles
About this tournament
6th Annual Jon D. Misner Memorial Charity Doubles event on Sunday September 22, 2019 at Firefighters Park in Troy, MI.
Come out and join us for an unsanctioned doubles challenge and stay for the bbq/picnic food, raffles and auctions to help raise money for this charity.
Event:
One round "bring your own partner" doubles format where you can also choose to play cali (play without a partner with one extra shot per hole where you have to play the lie from that additional shot). This is a casual disc golf event but it is also a family and a memorial event so enjoy yourself but please be courteous and considerate of others and any children nearby.
Schedule:
Registration from 10:45AM to 11:45AM
Players meeting at 12:00PM (this gives enough time to get the board set and get the final players taken care of)
Tee off at 12:20PM or sooner if we get through all the annoucements and last minute items.
Picnic is at 2:00 PM
Registration:
This will take place the morning of the event but I am encouraging you to leave a comment if you are planning to attend.
$25.00 for each player (This also covers your admission into the bbq/picnic).
Additionally we will also have:
$2 Ace pool (If you have registered and have paid into the Ace pool, before you start your round we will have you throw off from a drop zone to a practice basket. The winner of this throw off will win the Ace money IF no one throws an actual Ace during the event. This is to help speed things up at the end of the round.)
$2 50/50 Cash CTP
$1 Merch CTP

Currently we are working to add some additional course challenges like: O.B., mandos, elevated pins, modified and additional holes. If all that gets approved I will post a map of the layout.
