Update for 01/27/25

As of today, tournament staff have decided that with current course conditions and projected forecast leading up to the event, that we are comfortable with increasing the field size to 100 players. This means everyone will likely be playing on a 5 person card and some cards will be mixed divisions. With 5 person cards I ask that everyone be mindful of your pace of play. Excessive slow play is no fun for anyone so be aware and ready to throw as timely as possible.

With this increase to field size we also have moved up the start time of round 1 to 9:30 AM. This will give some extra time for everyone to complete round 1 and have lunch around noon.

With this addition of 20 more players the event no longer has a waitlist therefore, if you are not able to play in the event you have until 01/29/25 at 11:59 PM to request a withdrawal and get a full refund. Any drop outs on 01/30/25 on later will be given a refund based on the PDGA refund policy, which is a 25% cash refund if event has no waitlist at that time.

Update for 01/24/25

-As of today the course conditions could be labeled as "fair" with the typical areas soggy due to recent rains
-All pins are in tournament place outside of two holes (Y and 3), these locations are pending due to the wet course conditions.
-Tournament layouts are active on UDisc.
-Current forecast is looking good with little to no rain for the next week, if that holds true I will increase field size to 100 players by end of day on 01/30/25
-We will be having a course clean up tomorrow 01/25/25 at noon followed by a PDGA rated round at 1:30PM. See RCDGA Facebook page and/or UDisc Events for me info

Just a quick update on a few things as we get closer to the tournament date.

-Tee pad assignments have been posted in the about section.
-Baskets will be in tournament position no later than 01/22/25.
-There will be a course clean up day & rated round league on Saturday 01/25/25.(more details on this later)
-I plan on increasing the field size from 80 to 100 but only if the weather and course conditions are ideal. If I do increase the field size it won't happen until a few days before the event.
