Welcome to the first ever Disc Crazy tournament in Indianapolis!
The 6 Shooter Challenge is a 2 round bring your own partner alternate shot doubles held at George Washington DGC in Indianapolis IN. It's called the 6 Shooter Challenge because you and your partner are only allowed a total of 6 discs.
You and your partner are allowed to share discs, but the total number of discs must not exceed 6. Teams cannot throw other teams discs. Teams are allowed to make disc changes between rounds, but once each round starts, you are locked and loaded. Shooting well requires the right ammunition!
Consider this a TRUE alternate shot doubles. If your partner makes the putt, you are driving on the next teepad.
All teams are given 2 extra shots for the entire tournament (more available at the time of registration). Once the extra shot is thrown, the original shot is abandoned and you must play from the extra shot. If player A throws a bad shot and the team decides to throw the extra shot, player B will throw and player A's shot is abandoned. Because player B threw the extra shot, player A will then throw from player B's lie. These are NOT mulligans - the first throw is abandoned when the extra shot is thrown.
If you don't think 2 extra shots is enough for the tournament, more are available for purchase at the time of registration. Extra shots are not available at the day of the tournament. Teams are not required to use any or all of their extra shots as they are optional.
Division rating caps:
Open - 1920+
AM’s - 1919 or less
Non rated players assumed 950
All players will receive a tournament waffle towel. Pro payouts will be done via PayPal. Amateur payouts will Disc Crazy vouchers. Vouchers can also be redeemed at any Disc Crazy location within 30 days of the tournament conclusion. less
