About this tournament
SHOOT THE MOON has been CANCELLED for 2020.

Friends, we hate having to make this announcement. But we will be cancelling this year's Shoot the Moon Classic.
We care deeply about the health and safety of our players and local community. We always want Shoot the Moon to be a fun and challenging tournament that also supports the Viroqua VFW and our local business sponsors. With an uncertain future, we don't feel confident we could hold a tournament that meets the high expectations we set for ourselves as well as the current criteria for holding a disc golf tournament. We will, instead, focus on course work this season, so we can bring you the best Shoot the Moon to date in 2021.
We thank the Wisconsin Disc Sports Association for their understanding and support. We'll see you back on the WI Tour next year.

Our 5th year of Shoot the Moon and second appearance on the Wisconsin Disc Golf Tour. PDGA Sanctioned B-Tier Tournament Here's what you can expect:
Saturday, October 3rd: ALL AMATEUR DIVISIONS
Sunday, October 4th: ALL PRO DIVISIONS
+ 2 rounds of 18 holes
+ CTPs and trophies
+ Raffle following AM rounds on Saturday
+ Airborn will be back again this year for prizes and sales
+ Player packs for all Amateurs
+ Onsite camping and lunch available
+ Coveted Black Disc for the WI Tour

Minimum of 3 participants in a division are required to be awarded the coveted WI Tour Champion black disc.

Refund policy
Vernon Trails is responsible for all refunds/cancelations.
All refund/withdrawl requests must be submitted through DiscGolfScene or emailed to [email redacted]. Players MUST relay their withdrawals to the Tournament Director at the contact information posted.
Withdraw with a 30+ day notice (By Sept. 4th): 100% refund (minus processing fees).
Withdraw within a 15-29 day notice (Sept. 5th - 19th):
50% refund or players pack.
With a 14 day or less notice (Sept. 20th or after):
25% refund or players pack.
No-shows (players who do NOT officially request to withdraw) forfeit their entry fee and do NOT receive a refund or player’s pack.
All non-refunded entry fees will go to added cash for the event.
