Do you know what time the awards will be today?

Andrew Snyder   October 6 at 2:26pm

Awards will be awarded at the conclusion of your divisions round. Hard to put a time on that unfortunately.

Andrew Snyder    October 5 at 9:50pm

My apologies for the back to back emails but I forgot to mention something in my previous email.

There will be a course change on hole 7 at Silver Creek for round 3.

There will now be a mando at the end of the OB line/tree on hole 7. The OB is intended for the safety of the players on hole 8 and it was an oversight on my part to not put an OB on the tree.
That being said, in Round 3 you MUST pass to the LEFT of this tree in order to be in bounds. As a card, please be sure t ... more

Thanks for a great Day 1 everybody! Tee times have been posted to PDGA so please please PLEASE check that to get your tee time.

Please be here 15 minutes prior to your tee time in order to get check-in at tournament central.

CTP will be hole 5. I'll have the amount calculated in the morning.

There will be a second CTP on hole 1 that will be the "just in case there is no ace hit" CTP in which case this winner will get the ace pot.

Excited for the conclusion of the tournament tomorrow!

Mike Hill   October 5 at 4:03pm

Subject to change. Hell post the time when it’s official but I’d say it’ll probably be around 1

Matt Mullen   October 5 at 4:06pm

Thanks!

Mike Hill   October 5 at 4:12pm

He just posted. 1pm confirmed

Henry Brosch    October 5 at 2:17pm

Hey I forgot a nuke stuck in a tree on hole 4 at Johnson. It’s purple and has my name and number on it. Did anyone find it?

Chase Barstow   October 5 at 2:43pm

I have it

Henry Brosch   October 5 at 2:59pm

We’re on our last hole, can I grab it from you in the parking lot at Johnson?

Andrew Snyder    October 4 at 10:04pm

REMINDER: Bring cash tomorrow if you would like to be in the Ace Pot and CTP. CTP will be on the final round (Sunday).

Sorry to hear that Kevin! Hope you feel better. I'll make sure to set aside a players pack for you!

Thursday evening I lost a purple MVP Nomad at Silver Creek on hole 13 in the woods behind the basket. If anyone finds it I would appreciate it.. I was planning on bagging it for the tourney

I'll let you know if anybody turns it in!

Hello everyone!

Registration is officially closed. Starting holes should be locked in barring anything crazy. I've had to do a good amount of shifting starting holes around (not starting courses) so PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE make sure that you check the board at check-in and look at the PDGA live app prior to the start of the tournament so you know where you are starting.

Can't wait for this weekend!

Mark Wallace   October 4 at 4:07pm

Hi Andrew. I just emailed you about late registration. Just wanted to hit you up here as well so you'll see it. Thanks!

Andrew Snyder    October 2 at 2:07pm

Players email has been sent! Round 1 cards are set but are subject to change so make sure you check the board at tournament central or keep an eye on the PDGA live app for most up to date information!

IMPORTANT: If you want in the Ace pot and CTP (which will be in play Round 3) make sure that you update your registration before tomorrow morning or bring cash to get check in!

I'm getting very excited for this weekend. I'll be out over the next 3 days getting Silver Creek and Johnson lined and flagged. Come say hi if you are out for an evening practice round.

ATTENTION: We've decided to NOT do the early check-in on Friday. Please make sure you check in Saturday morning and get your players pack.

Is there a finalized Caddie book available? I think the one thats posted has a typo saying that hole 17 is par 5

Andrew Snyder   September 30 at 5:52pm

Caddie book will come out with the players meeting. I just posted that to give everybody an idea of where the OB will be since it's going to be same/similar to last year.

Andrew Snyder   October 1 at 10:35am

Players email will be sent out on Wednesday!

Andrew Snyder    September 26 at 11:32am

I'm gonna do my best to get the Silver Creek OBs painted and flagged as soon as I can but unfortunately (and I guess fortunately so it'll be fresh cut) the park mows on Thursdays. I'd had to do all the line painting and they just cut it all off.

Well then the course would be too easy!

Patrick Conway   September 26 at 1:17pm

I like Mike's idea ,, i throw too wildly ,, lol

Tyler Damsa   September 27 at 1:34am

Paint it. Mike just knows he can’t stay in bounds.

Kenny Kwong    September 25 at 7:19pm

If the field isnt filled out. Do you think ma3 could play similar layouts to ma2? Might be doable if spaced out.

Andrew Snyder   September 25 at 7:34pm

Layouts are set. MA3 will be playing all shorts and MA2 will be splitting. Same as last year!

Andrew Snyder    September 24 at 10:28pm

Update: "Pools" will be set this weekend, which will determine what course you'll be starting at on Saturday. Stay tuned!

YAY !! Thanks Andrew.

Andrew Snyder    September 24 at 1:37am

Schedule has been added. This will all be summarised in the players email that will go out next week prior to the event. It's an early start to the day but I want to make sure that everybody gets a chance to get to their respective courses/holes with plenty of time.

The player packs have been finalized for the year. It will be as follows:
1. Rubber City Classic Disc Golf Pin (they look AMAZING)
2. Custom RCC resin mini
3. A dry sac

This is a smaller players pack than years past but payouts will be some of the biggest of the year!

Henry Brosch   September 17 at 1:36pm

I’m inexperienced, are am payouts cash, or prizes like a basket or discs?

Andrew Snyder   September 18 at 11:29am

Hey Henry! It's a great question. In a PDGA sanctioned events, AMs can not be paid prize money in cash. AM payouts will be vouchers used on site. We'll have Play It Again Sports Canton set up on Sunday for players to use said vouchers on product.

Joshua Sgambellone    August 21 at 9:45am

Is the plan to do two rounds saturday 1 round sunday?

Andrew Snyder   August 21 at 10:01am

Yes. Rounds 1 and 2 will be on Saturday and Round 3. Obviously all is subject to change but that's the plan again this year.
