Welcome to the 4th Annual Rotary Classic Sponsored by BigFoot Discs and Powered by Prodigy! This event is the first event for us in Henryetta, OK! We are excited to be running this event as a fundraiser event for the Rotary Club of Henryetta. For those who may not know, I am a fellow Rotarian in Durant, OK! What is a Rotarian you might ask? Rotarians engage in service projects, promote peace and understanding, and work to improve communities locally and globally through volunteerism and humanitarian efforts.

Rotary Four-Way Test
The Four-Way Test is a guiding principle for Rotary International and asks the following questions:

1. Is it the truth?
2. Is it fair to all concerned?
3. Will it build goodwill and better friendships?
4. Will it be beneficial to all concerned?

It is used to promote ethical behavior and decision-making in personal and professional lives.

Rotary Impact
Rotary International is a very fulfilling and tremendous organization, it in many ways has helped shape us, our business, and me as a business professional. When we were asked to help organize this event, I was more than excited and ready to pull out all the stops to make this a big one for the 2024 Big Foot Tour Series - Tenacious Twelve!

Event Details
This tournament will be a 2-Round PDGA B-Tier with $1,000 Added Cash for Pro Players. We will also have a handful of local players who will be participating in the C Pool as a one-round unsanctioned event. Note: These players will not interfere with the B-Tier event.

A Pool - MPO, FPO, MP40, FP40, MP50, MA1, MA40, MA50
B Pool - FA1, FA40, FA50, MA60, MA2, FA2, MA3, FA3, MA4, FA4, MJ18, FJ18, MJ15, FJ15
C Pool - Unsanctioned Beginners
The C Pool will be for local supporters of the Rotary Club of Henryetta who want to come out and support and play in the event. This will be a one-round unsanctioned event. With all the proceeds benefitting the Rotary Club of Henryetta.

Layout
The morning round will be played on the West Course for All Divisions. The Final Round will be played on the East Course for All Divisions. The same tees and pins will be in play for all Divisions. The course is setup in the tournament layout for practice as of 2/21/2024.

Am Player Pack
All Amateur Players playing in the Sanctioned B-Tier Event will receive their choice of any stock-stamped disc that we have. We will have all of our plastic at the event including Lone Star Discs, Prodigy, Discraft, Mint, Axiom, MVP, Discmania, Thought Space Athletics, and more to choose from.

All Am Players signed up by 2/23 at 12 PM Noon will receive a BigFoot Bonus T-Shirt and BigFoot Hat (Retail Value of $50)

2024 BigFoot Tour Series Event Cancellation Policy

Players MUST email their withdrawals to the Tournament Director only at the contact information posted for the tournament. Discussions with persons other than the Tournament Director, including other tournament staff, shall not be considered official.

Entering refund requests in the Disc Golf Scene Comments section is not sufficient for withdrawal.

Players who have paid more than a nominal waitlist fee of $10 to be on an event’s waitlist who do not get into the event, or who officially request to withdraw from the waitlist prior to the event’s published closure of registration and waitlist replacements (within one week is recommended), will receive a 100% monetary refund of that waitlist fee (minus up to a $10 handling fee).

Players who officially request to withdraw from an event at least 30 days before the start of the event will receive a 100% monetary refund of their entry fee (minus up to a $10 handling fee).

Players who officially request to withdraw from an event 15 to 29 days before the start of the event will receive a 100% monetary refund of their entry fee minus up to a $10 handling fee only if their spot in the tournament is filled by a player who is on the waitlist at the time of the withdrawal request. If the player’s spot is not filled, the TD has the choice to provide either a 50% monetary refund of their entry fee or just the player’s pack the player would have received if they had attended (minus the cost of shipping). In the case of a player in a Pro division for an event without a Pro player pack worth at least 25% of the Entry Fee, the TD will provide the 50% monetary refund.

Players who officially request to withdraw from an event within 14 days of the start of the event and prior to the event’s published closure of registration and waitlist replacements (within one week is recommended) will receive a 100% monetary refund minus up to a $10 handling fee only if their spot in the tournament is filled by a player who is on the waitlist at the time of the withdrawal request. If the player’s spot is not filled, the TD has the choice to provide either a 25% monetary refund or just the player’s pack they would have received if they had attended (minus the cost of shipping). In the case of a player in a Pro division for an event without a Pro player pack worth at least 25% of the Entry Fee, the TD will provide the 25% monetary refund.

Players who request withdrawal within 48 hours of the start of play, or who request withdrawal after the published close of registration and the published end of waitlist replacements, are not entitled to a refund. If a TD fills a player’s spot with a player on the waitlist at the time of withdrawal after the published close of registration and the published end of waitlist replacements, but more than 48 hours prior to the start of play, that player must receive a 100% monetary refund of their entry fee.

Weather Cancellation Policy

OFFICIAL WEATHER CANCELLATION POLICY
If poor weather/road conditions are present, modifications to the tournament may be taking place, (an example would be eliminating the morning round and playing the afternoon round only). Additionally, if conditions are challenging the event, we will look to reschedule the tournament. In accordance with PDGA Rule 1.07, if rescheduling is impossible and/or players are unable to participate, a full refund will be issued minus player’s package, PDGA, and other associated event fees.
