Are placements going to be updated to account for DNFs in MA2?

Mike Jewell and Steve Rico really did a great job with this tournament! Three fun rounds with a lot of great people.

I second that!

Bart Eccles    February 10, 2023 at 2:57am

Hi Mike, other than the flyby, is there a caddy book? I checked my email and did not see anything. Thanks Bart

All of the rules will be on your digital scorecard with the pdga. You'll get access to that while you play :)

I have a 12:20 tee time for Friday. Where is the best spot to throw warmup shots to get loose? Thanks for organizing and can’t wait for this weekend!!

If there are no sports being played in the baseball field, that is the closest. We might have a throwing net out there for you. But, LA Canada High school is right across the street. You may be able to get some throws in over there as well.

We always have a few day-of drop outs. You are welcome to show up at the first tee time to be a fill in, for someone that drops out last second. I can't guarantee anything though.

Question: Are any cement tee pads from normal layout that are Drop zone's or within the Wintertime layout considered O.B, Hazard or Safe?

Mike Jewel   February 8, 2023 at 3:20am

The tees are not OB.

Paul Rudd   February 8, 2023 at 3:45am

Any updates on Tee Times? Thanks

They will be here when they are posted. Usually age protected classes go earlier, like 60+, 50+, etc. https://www.pdga.com/tour/event/64729

Hole 14 the Island Hole. The rock out line shares 2 Baskets the Video C.B. shows the first Basket (closest) will this be the Basket 4 the Am's?

Geoffrey Nourse   February 6, 2023 at 9:21pm

Mike and Rico are the TDs, but I as a local, I believe it is the near island from the tee, but the entire island (dog bone shaped) is safe. I you do not land on the island (dog bone), then it is played as a hazard, play from where the disc lies, adding one stroke to your score.

Paul Rudd    February 4, 2023 at 5:43pm

Caddy Book Questions. Am hole 2 will creek area be defined by rope? AM Hole 6 laying on road in front of basket island plays as ob correct? AM Hole 17 and 18 does ob road play as road and beyond or just road? Also hole 18 is parking area on right ob?

Mike Jewel   February 4, 2023 at 10:10pm

Hole 2 yes, rope will be the defining line. Hole 6 yes, the roads are all OB. As said in the video, the island that you throw from and the island with the basket are the only "good ground" all else is OB. Hole 17 and 18 yes, road and beyond is OB.

When will we have Tee times and the caddy book?

spence stevens    February 3, 2023 at 8:17pm

Can you give us the sequence of the tee times yet? (ie will MA60 be first, in the middle, or last) Also, will it be the same sequence each day? I am trying to plan time to visit family on Saturday and Sunday and want to know roughly what time I will be available.
Thank you

Mike Jewel   February 3, 2023 at 8:58pm

MA60 will be early every day

Patrick Parry    February 2, 2023 at 9:00pm

Will there be vendors selling discs at this event?

Mike Jewel   February 3, 2023 at 8:58pm

We will have some vendors at the event. Come check it out by the backstop of the baseball field, near check in.
