About this tournament

Earlier this summer, Mark Drake and Jason Lecompte approached the RCCG with an idea for a larger PDGA event, which brought multiple clubs together and focused on community building and cooperation. This event would be low-cost, with the hopes of bringing out players which wouldn’t normally play in competitive events and emphasize the spirit of the game.

This underlying theme of an event like fits the bill of the Alabama Flying Disc Championship perfectly, so we are excited to announce the collaboration we have cultivated for the 44th Annual AFDC!

The Cullman Disc Club, Bells Angels, Eat Sleep Disc and the Rocket City Chain Gang very much look forward to bringing the AFDC to everyone on November 17th and 18th

We will be playing Sparkman Parkside (Hartselle) and finishing up with tee times at Indian Creek (Huntsville/Madison) for this two day PDGA event in addition to the field events present at the AFDC. Keep an eye on this page for details as they are solidified.

All amateur divisions will be players pack/trophy only. Pro divisions will be paid out in cash.
