Dang! Registration filled in just over 2 days - a new record for Frontier.
If you've arrived too late, fear not! We typically see the waitlist cycle through pretty well as the event draws near. Get on that list! If you do not make it in, you will receive a full refund.
…and by the way, the larger our waitlist gets, the stronger our case gets as we continue our efforts to build additional courses in Hays. We had 5 course proposals rejected in 2024 - including a couple that perso ...

I hope the event went well and I will surely try to get in next year!
Since I didn't make it off of the wait list, do I need to do anything on my end to get my refund? I see that I have the option to withdraw from the event, but I didn't want to try that without getting some guidance first.

From tourneys past, Big Creek is constantly hungry for discs...but is she flowing this year?

Hello, current "Waitlist #5" here and it appears that I am the only one on the MA3 waitlist (getting more exciting as I write this email).
If I understand the waitlist rules correctly, as it stands now someone from MA3 must drop out in order for me to make the cut.
Can I request that MA40+ be added as a 2nd pool in which I might be eligible for active status? Just trying to increase my chances of being included this year and, if my request is allowed, being added to MA40+ or MA3 mig ...

After further review, I'm seeing an A Pool (which incl. MA40+) and B Pool (which incl. MA3). So, if my request is way off base or 'not how things are normally done,' then please disregard and I'll just standby with my fingers crossed. Regardless, I'm open to playing in divisions MA40+ or MA3. Thanks again!
Yep, now you got it. The waitlist moves when someone from the same pool of players withdraws. So, if 5 people withdraw from the B pool, you’ll be in. Keep those fingers crossed!

Could you take a second and educate me on the waiting list situation? I'm seeing names with wait list numbers next to them. I am registered and it's saying on here says I'm on wait list #11. Would that mean that I'm 11th in line? Thanks for your time and I'm sorry for my ignorance. I've just stated playing in tournaments this year.
Yes, that’s what that means. The waitlist is split by pool, so each time someone from that pool drops out you’ll move up the list. Anyone who doesn’t make it off the waitlist will receive a full refund.

I think I forgot to mark Bob Decker #17745 and Dan Decker #40094 (on wait list) as returning players.

Info I didn't have at registration: I participated in the 2004 through 2014, and the 2019 Frontier Opens. As noted previously, I won the 2011 27th Annual Frontier Open. I did not take last in any of them.

I didn't know this when I registered but, I won the 27th Annual Frontier Open (2011) in the MG1 (Am Grandmasters) division.

Is there a way to edit my registration? I forgot to check the returning player box, I started playing with the 10th Frontier Open thru the 15th.. 1994-1999

If someone drives from far away and realizes when they get there that they forgot their shoes, what do they do? Do you sell shoes?
The rushing waters of the Big Creek River bear many treasures. The tricky part will be finding two shoes of the same size.

Are all divisions playing both days?
Sorry for the delayed response - yes, the plan is for everyone to play both days.
She’s pretty low! I just spent the day swimming and pulled out 60-70 discs. I haven’t seen it this low in probably 10 years.
