Looks like I will be splitting groups. Half the field will play OG first and the other half will play Champ first.

Because shaver champ takes so much longer to play than the original course, I am going to try to put 3 player cards on shaver championship course tomorrow morning for the first round. My hope is 3 player cards can work through championship course in around the same time it will take 4 player cards t ... more

Here is the Caddie Book for Saturday. https://docs.google.com/document/d/165eZCVfrvnItj_mPGrDvEojWMOtNH49x/edit?usp=sharing&ouid=106509618030131115313&rtpof=true&sd=true

Right now, I am assuming we will not have more than 72 players. If this holds true, we will play 1 course at a time and not split the field. If we get more than 72 players, then I will divide the field up into pools and each course will be in play both rounds. I will update everyone if this becomes the case (But I ... more

So I am coming from Tennessee and I was wondering if anyone knew of any hotels the could recommend close to the course. Thank you in advance

I would go by whatever hotel search you prefer. This is a fairly nice area with little risk. Clemson is fairly close too and has several hotel options as well.

OK thank you!

Is Ma2, Ma1 and MPO all playing the same layout?

Gabe Brown   January 9 at 10:50am

Yes. MA4, FA, and Juniors will play a shorter version. Everyone else plays the same layout.

Is registration limited to only current PDGA members? There is the note about the $10 up charge for non members, but when I attempt to register it is gives me a note that I must have a current membership to register.

PDHA membership is required for B tier tournaments and higher. Since this is a Pro C/AM B tier, you can enter MPO without a membership, but not the AM side.

What layout will MA2 be playing on the champion course?

Gabe Brown   January 4 at 3:20pm

I have not 100% decided, but it will probably be very similar to the hybrid layout we played last year. I plan to walk the course saturday to decde for sure. Here is a link to the layouts used last year. https://www.discgolfscene.com/tournaments/Shaver_Shiver_2023/pictures/364908#364908

Gabe Brown   January 7 at 11:35pm

I have decided. This year's layouts will be same as the link above. I am working on getting Udisc updated.

Will we play one round at each course?

Gabe Brown   November 18 at 5:01pm

Yes. One round Champion. One round at OG.
