Thanks to everyone who came out today. I hope you all had a good time. Aside from losing my package bag (#1 in case someone ended up with it) I enjoyed it. I'll try to post more formal results, but Congrats to Kevin Wilsterman on winning the 3-way playoff for the winner's package. I'll likely be doing this again next year at about the same time. Thanks to all who contributed, helped, or donated in some way. Keep an eye out for future activities to get Memorial Park moving and improved.

Looking forward to tomorrow morning. If anyone is able to bring a portable basket, I could put it to use. Also, I would welcome any help to prepare for the event in the morning, with things like course setup and package distribution.

All packages are prepared for distribution. It will be first-come, first-served with hats (various colors) and discs (various colors and weights).

Discs have arrived. The package is sweet. IMO this is the best Discraft Driver I've thrown since the X-Clone. (Discraft pleasepleaseplease bring that one back!). OK, well, maybe the XL. It is very fast out of the hand, and flies very consistent with a slightly stable but smooth finish from my first impression. It reminds me of an Innova Katana in terms of flight characteristics, only perhaps a little straighter from start to finish. It has a pretty narrow rim. Flies beautifully. IF YOU AREN'T REGISTERED YET GET ON BOARD - SIX SPOTS LEFT!

OK, so as usual, I'm a bit late on things, but no matter, we should set up for a good race this year. The discs this year are in Z plastic, and they're describing it as a small-rim driver, similar to Avenger SS but with more distance.

This is year #3 in a row for a driver being showcased. This means the layout this year will be similar to the first two. Looking forward to seeing everyone there.
