I have no idea what the letters mean, I am a new PDGA member and I guess I start at the bottom? Also, if I am starting at the bottom, what color tee pad will I be using for the tournament, thank you, any help is appreciated.

Hi Scott! The colors reflect rating based division names. You will can choose to play the Purple <800 rated division if you like. That is somewhere around +13 over par from the shorts. If you are better than that consider playing a highter division. Red, Green, and Purple all play the shorts. Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns. Cheers!
