About this tournament

The 3rd Annual GFDF will be held at North GA Canopy Tours once again! The Disc Golf portion will be 1 Round on Saturday Morning and 1 Round on Sunday Morning, both on a 21 Hole version of the Super Lula Layout.

PLUS a FINAL 6 Holes to be played after RD 2 for the Top Finishers in MPO and FPO. It will be a Safari Loop that's Spectator Firendly, and based around the Field.

Short Tees for MA3, FA1, FA2, FA3

PRO Payout will be done through the PayPal Address you signed up with, unless specified otherwise.

A PDGA "True Amateur Event".... Which Means:

-All AM Entry Fees are the same.

-All AM's will receive a Player's Pack worth more than their Entry Fee

-Trophies for all AM Divisions

-Free Merch CTP's for all AM Divisions

-There will be no Merch Payout



$20 GFDF Entry Fee is REQUIRED!!! The Disc Golf Event is only part of the GFDF. Here's what comes with that Entry...

- Entry into the SIX SIDE EVENTS taking place Saturday after RD 1.

The 6 Side Events will be:

Putting, Accuracy, Controlled Distance, Mini Golf, Mid Size Golf (Macro/Junior/Mini), and Ultimate/Superclass Dubs Catch Golf.

-1st Hole Starts by MVP Flag Near Hole 5’s Tee

-There Will be a Macro Black Hole Basket on Each Hole



Accuracy

-The Person ahead of you in Line will Count your Points AND Write your score down…..DO NOT WRITE YOUR OWN SCORE

-After Your Score has been Recorded, you MUST stay and Score for the next Person in Line

-You need 9 Discs

-You Must Throw 3 Discs at Each Target

-1 Point for Coming to rest Inside the Painted Circle

-3 Points for hitting Basket or Above (Pole doesn’t count)

-5 Points for Making a Basket



MACRO (Big Mini) Golf


-Must Play in Groups of at least 3, with NO MORE than 5

-Must Keep a Written Scorecard

-9 Hole Stroke Play

-Play the Long Tees on Holes 6-14

-There Will be a Macro Black Hole Basket on Each Fairway

-Turn Card in back into Envelope/Box at Hole 6’s Tee



Mini Golf

Putting


-Use 4 Your Own Putters or the Putters Here

-Putt Each Disc From Each of the 5 Stations

-Each Make is Worth 1 Point (20 Points Possible)

-The Person ahead of you in Line will Count your Points AND Write your score down

-After You’re Score has been Recorded, you MUST stay and Score for the next Person in Line



Ultimate Doubles (Pick your Own Partner)

-Alternate Hole Doubles: Stroke Play
-Short Tees on every Hole
-Play in Groups of 4 or 6 Players (2 or 3 Teams)
-Must Use Ultimate Disc, Superclass Approved, or Bite (No Condors or anything with a beveled edge)
-Player A does all the Throwing on Even Holes and Player B does on Odd Holes
-So Player B will Catch on Even Holes and Player A will catch on Odd Holes
-The Catcher Must Stay Inside the Painted Circle (Around the basket in most cases) while it is their Partners turn to throw.
-The Throwers will play golf as they normally would, except instead of “Holing Out” into the Basket, they must complete the Hole by having their Partner Catch their shot while keeping all supporting points inside the Circle
-All Normal Golf Rules Apply
-Turn Scorecard In afterwards
LAYOUT:
-Hole 3’s Short Tee Starts and Ends the Course (it is the Tee for Hole 1 AND Hole 10)


-Hole 1: Tee from Hole 3 Short, and the Catcher’s Area is Hole 3’s Long Tee.
-Hole 2: Play 16 Short
-Hole 3: Play 17 Long Tee with Catching Area as 17’s Short Tee.
-Hole 4: Play 17 Short Tee to 17 Basket
-Hole 5: Play 18’s Short Tee to Practice Basket (Mando)
-Hole 6: Play Temp Tee Between Practice Basket and Pond to Hole 18’s Elevated Short Pin
-Hole 7: Play Hole 1’s Short Tee to Basket
-Hole 8: Play Hole 2’s Short Tee to Basket
-Hole 9: Play Temp Tee Left of 2’s Basket to Steps Across Road
-Hole 10: Play 3’s Short Tee to Basket



Long Drive

-Cross your Name off the List Before Throwing

-Take 5 of your Best Drivers

-Throw Each off of Hole 5’s Tee

-Disc Must Come to Rest Inside the Marked Area between the trees to Count

-There will be 4 Flags for Men and 4 Flags for Women

-If your drive beats any of the Flags for your gender, You must Move the Shortest Flag (Distance from the Tee) to your Lie and Write your name on it
