    11:00am - 11:30am

    $500- Furthest Throw Competition
    Furthest Throw is paid $500 in cash

    12:00pm - 3:00pm

    BYOP Doubles get scorecards and starting teepad assignments.
    Set Doubles Teams for those who did not BYOP
    Each Team needs a scorecard
    Each team keeps their own score
    players w/o doubles will be paired up before play starts. Starting holes will be assigned-Shotgun start.
    Move Down to the Ice House DGC

    Starting time will be determined at the event. We will have a set start time so everyone begins at the same time.

    3:00pm - 3:30pm

    Award Dubs winners. Ice House 9 DGC parking lot. Meet by hole 1 teepad when doubles round is over. Hold on to your scores.

Annual event that brings awareness to the disc golf course in Globe, Arizona. This event also raises money to fund the cleanup and maintenance of the Ice House 9 Disc Golf Course.

9am to 10:30am
Competitive gameplay with different distance challenges:
Putt- 7 Stations from 10 meters and in

PUTT Challenge:
you will use 5 discs. you will shoot from 7 positions. As long as the disc goes in, you can retrieve it for next position. Once a disc hits the ground it is out of play. You will shoot all available discs at the position before moving back to the next. When all of your discs have hit the ground, your turn is over. The player with the most total points wins.

Position 1: 5 Feet- 1 point.
Position 2: 7 Feet- 2 points.
Position 3: 10 Feet 3 Points.
Position 4: 14 feet- 4 points.
Position 5: 19 feet- 5 points.
Position 6: 25 feet- 6 points.
Position 7: 32 feet- 7 points.

Mid-Range Challenge:
Use any disc you want. 140 Foot shot between two fences. CTP wins
165 foot shot

Fairway Challenge:
Use any disc you want. 200 Foot shot under the rahmada. CTP wins
225 foot shot

Distance Control- like top golf. 60 feet up a hill. shooting down at targets worth points.

Located at the upper ramada and soccer fields on Hagen Road.
Top finisher in each category gets a medal, $50 cash, and their name put on the End of Year Games plaque.

Maximum Distance- Farthest throw off the hillside into the fields.
(2022- 400ft Todd Draper, 2023- 525ft Nick Duran)
$500 awarded to the furthest throw

12pm:
Best shot doubles round on the Ice House Canyon Disc Golf Course. Located below the swimming pool and teeball fields, along Ice House Canyon Creek. 1st place team gets a trophy and their name put on the End of Year Games Plaque.
Top 5 teams get cash payout. Amounts listed for the team, individuals decide the split.
1st - $200
2nd - $120
3rd - $80
4th - $60
5th - $40

Bring your own partner but the pair of you may not exceed 1829 rating combined. The two champs from the previous years will represent their team in the 2024 event:

George Stemm and Damien Todd 2023 Dubs Champs

3pm:
Awards at the parking lot for the Ice House Canyon Creek. Located below the teeball fields along the Ice House Canyon Creek. Black gravel parking lot.

Simple event meant to highlight the origins of the sport, and to connect long term players with new players to help grow the sport in a positive and collaborative direction. This event is more similar to some of the old school 'frisbee' events that included a round of disc golf as part of a larger event.

Camping is Available!
contact [email redacted] if you would like to reserve an RV spot, or tent camping area for the Friday before the event. Camping sites will be in the Pinal Mountains, about 15-20 minutes from the course.

Refund policy

Stephen Palmer is responsible for all refunds/cancellations. Refunds may be issued but this is a fundraising event so it will be frowned upon, deeply... frowned upon ;)
