3rd Annual Disc Golf Family Reunion (USDGC Doubles Qualifier Event)
About this tournament
Up to 36 teams
This is a USDGC Doubles qualifier event for MA1/FA1. You have to be a member of the PDGA with AMATEUR status to receive a bid for for USDGC Doubles. If a member of the team is not classified as AMATEUR with the PDGA, the team will not get a bid.
Pools have been setup to encourage 25 teams for MA Qualifier bids. If the Mixed Qualifier spots are not filled by Aug 10th, I will consider bringing waitlist teams into the event by expanding the Non-Qualifier and FA Qualifier pool.
This will be a 2 rounds of 18 with shotgun starts. Using the Tyger Dubs Thursdays 2024 layout in UDisc. (All white tees, all yellow baskets except red baskets on holes 6 & 11)
OB: I will be either flagging or painting the tree line on the right of hole 10 and 11. Tall grass and beyond will be flagged on 11, 12, 13, 17, 15 (on left near basket), and 16 fairway outlined by tall grass will be flagged.) Fairway for other tee box on hole 16 will not be in bounds. Fairway for 10 and 18 will have a dividing OB line for safety reasons. There will be other normal OB and mandos that are already present on the course as well. Full details will come with caddie book a few days prior to event.
The format for both rounds is Best Throw where the team determines which partner’s lie to throw from and both players throw from that lie.
This is a AM Player Pack ONLY event that will consist of a goodie bag with a DSD voucher that can be used towards onsite merch so you can make your own player pack. MA1/FA1 competitors will also get a USDGC Doubles Disc as a part of their player pack. The value of the disc is the difference in entry fee.
PDGA requires any player under 13 to have at least 1 non-player guardian on their card and junior divisions cannot be mixed with non-junior cards.
Pass-through Fees: $2 PDGA sanction fee, $2 for TD fees, $5 for course fees etc.
