About this tournament
What's the highest rank you can get by only using 3 discs?
Find out at the 3 Disc Challenge.
Challenges are the first ever disc golf event to take place online, meaning you can play from any course in the country.
Here's how it works:
Purchase an event ticket here
On the day of the event, go play on the course of your choice, following the rules of the challenge (Rules Below)
Submit your scores online and in just a few days, you'll receive in the mail 1 of 7 different challenge coins, depending on your score that day.
What are challenge coins?
Challenge coins are unique collector items you get for completing our online events. Earn 1 of 7 unique challenge coins depending on how well you played in the challenge. We also have achievement coins that you can earn by completing different achievements like getting an ace, going bogie free, and more.
How do we determine scores
We take the universal average score for the course and layout you play at on UDisc and use that as our baseline to determine what score you need to shoot to earn each rank. (You will tell us your course and layout when submitting scores and we will verify the universal average scores that day).
For example, if the universal average score is a 54 (or +4), we will then use that score as our baseline to determine what you need to shoot to earn each rank.
Gold - 39 (-11)
Orange - 44 (-6)
Blue - 49 (-1)
White - 54 (+4)
Red - 59 (+9)
Green - 64 (+14)
Purple - 69+ (+19)
Universal scores can be found by going to the course and then leaderboards where you'll find the world icon next to the universal average for that course and layout.
Rules for every challenge
You must play with at least 1 other player to keep the integrity of the game.
You must submit score before the deadline (midnight on the last event day).
Rules for the 3 disc challenge
You're only allowed to use 3 discs for the entire round.
1 disc means 1 piece of plastic. You can't have multiple discs of the same mold and call it one disc... nice try though.
If you lose a disc during play, you must continue with your remaining discs only.
Remember, no cheating. This is a game of integrity and if you're a fellow disc golfer, we are going to assume you have some. If you have a bad round then don't worry because we will have more in the future.
Here's what you get when you sign up:
A challenge coin with the rank being determined by how well you shoot that day
A coin caddy that goes on your bag and magnetically holds your coin in place
The chance to earn some bonus coins like the bogey-free or ace coin, if you're able to hit those achievements during your round of course.
Due to this being a beta run, spots are limited so sign up now at our website discgolfchallenge.com or click on our website to learn more.
Please be aware that everything will be shipped after the event ends.
