Please remember to review the new rules for 2024, particularly in regards to scoring. As of January 1st, everyone MUST keep score. Please do your TDs a favor and consider digital scoring via the PDGA live scoring. Not only does this help out your TDs tremendously, it all but eliminates errors and scores being entered incorrectly.

Thanks in advance.

Pdga password? Starting holes tonight?

Looking forward to it!

Holes are posted but there is a players meeting tomorrow. Scoring code and other tournament information will be given out then.

Regarding the snow, I’ve never played in this much. I’ve heard of tying ribbons to your disc so that they’re easier to find. Is this PDGA legal? Or should I even worry about losing discs this with 3+ other sets of eyes on it.

How does one attach a ribbon to a disc?

Scott Jenkins   January 20, 2024 at 12:59am

Tape. The better the tape the better it'll stay on.

Kristy Moore   January 20, 2024 at 1:28am

Yes we will allow the use of ribbon for the event. Better safe than sorry, even if you don't lose one without it can save a ton of time not having to look as long.

Kristy Moore    January 19, 2024 at 5:15pm

If anyone is available to help clear off some tee pads in the morning, please come out between 8:30 and 9:00.

I can not find the times in the about page or the PDGA website. Can I get some help?

Thanks Kristy, I see the schedule for the day, but not the individual tee times. Are those located some where else?

Eric Morgan   January 19, 2024 at 6:17pm

Shotgun start, only 1 tee time

Kristy Moore   January 19, 2024 at 8:07pm

Yep, what Eric said, this is a shotgun start event, not tee times. Everyone will start at 11:00AM.

Josh Engelhart    January 19, 2024 at 1:45pm

Is the white marked area on the course OB?

Kristy Moore   January 19, 2024 at 2:35pm

Hahaha yep only the pad and the basket are inbounds.

Scott Carpenter    January 18, 2024 at 4:57pm

This may be premature, but can we consider the possibility of allowing tee-off next to the tee pads? I might want to have some sort of yak-trak devices for the ice and they are not great on concrete....

i've had success using them in icy conditions. just planning for all contingencies.

Kristy Moore   January 18, 2024 at 5:57pm

Absolutely! We will definitely allow for teeing off beside or behind the tee pad just no closer to the target than the normal end of the tee pad. We want everyone to be safe.

Scott Carpenter   January 18, 2024 at 6:08pm

thanks kristy! looking forward to an epic round!

Nick Dillion    January 16, 2024 at 8:01pm

I’m having trouble finding tee times. I read that they were in the “About” tab, but I am not seeing any information.

Also, is there going to be an effort to clear tee pads? I’m just trying to prepare in case i need some fresh shoes.

Thanks Kristy!

It is a shotgun event, so there are no tee times, the schedule is posted on the about page.

Kristy Moore   January 16, 2024 at 9:35pm

We will try to clear the pads as much as possible. Right now it is looking like snow Thursday and Friday, so we will see how it shakes out.

Scott Jenkins   January 17, 2024 at 7:13pm

I'd plan on fresh shoes regardless. Looking like 2-5" of untouched snow if it falls during the time expected.. which is late Thursday into Friday around 4-5pm. Even if they are shoveled or salted it's gonna be roughly 15 degrees most of the round.. so even the fairways are gonna be potentially slippery.

If I registered right now, would I get in from the waitlist?

Kristy Moore   January 16, 2024 at 4:00pm

Most likely. We have had a couple of drops the past few days and I expect a few more before Saturday.

Trevor McFadden    January 12, 2024 at 10:49pm

PDGA member now. Can I please get a refund ☺

Raven Gilkerson    January 11, 2024 at 4:40am

Since I’m on the waitlist should I just show up on Saturday and I’ll either get in or I won’t ? Haha

Kristy Moore   January 11, 2024 at 10:14pm

Yeah I would definitely come out the day of if you don't get in. I think we get someone in off the wait-list day of almost every year.

Tristan Beachy    December 29, 2023 at 3:50pm

Will any basket locations change before the tourney?

Kristy Moore   December 30, 2023 at 8:41am

Hole 15 will be moved into its short position. The rest should stay the same.

Tristan Beachy   January 2, 2024 at 12:14pm

Thank You

Kristy Moore   December 23, 2023 at 6:05am

Yes, all amateur players will receive an Ice Bowl stamped disc from MVP. We will have a couple of molds to choose from.

Scott Carpenter    December 6, 2023 at 6:20pm

Kristi, I just renewed my PDGA for 2024. Can I get a refund for the $10 surcharge?

Done

Discount code in the renewal email does not seem to be working

Kristy Moore    November 22, 2023 at 12:09am

We did send out the code for this year's early registration. If you did not receive it, you may not be current for 2024.

Kevin reichert    November 21, 2023 at 10:50pm

I just renewed a few mins ago. My codes in the email didn’t change from 2023

Kristy Moore   November 21, 2023 at 11:05pm

Unfortunately we may have to not do early registration for members then. I have changed all of the codes and even sent out test emails to a couple of people and it seems to be working for some people and not for others. I have no clue why

Kristy Moore   November 21, 2023 at 11:17pm

I did just have someone renew and they did receive the new codes, so I'm really not sure why some people are getting the old codes and some are getting the new ones.

Kyle Johns   November 22, 2023 at 2:14am

yea i can confirm that i just got the old code that ive been using this year

Kristy Moore    November 21, 2023 at 2:38pm

If you are a club member that is going to try to take advantage of early registration please remember that you must renew for 2024 to receive the new codes for this event and all the events throughout the year.

Please do not share the code with anyone that is not a member.

I joined the club at the beginning of this month and membership extends through 2024, but I only have the 2023 code currently. Will this one work or do I need to wait for the 2024 code to come through?

Kristy Moore   November 21, 2023 at 10:09pm

You should have received a new email within the last week with the new codes. I just resent it to you just in case.

Tyler Stamper   November 21, 2023 at 10:25pm

Just got it, thanks!
