The disc golf tournament was a blast, with the kind of perfect weather that makes you wonder if Mother Nature might actually play disc golf herself—just a light breeze and not too hot. The disc golf tournament was a blast, with the kind of perfect weather that makes you wonder if Mother Nature might actually play disc golf herself—just a light breeze and not too hot. You know, the kind of day where you think, "This is gonna be my best game ever," right before you launch a drive straight into a tree. Classic.

Ryan Gecks came out swinging (or, throwing?), snagging the Closest to Pin in round one, while Jaden Keenan nailed it in round two. Both walked away with $32, which is probably already earmarked for a celebratory round of drinks or—let's be real—more discs.

The big money moment($40) came when Kevin Inscore drained the ace on hole 4, beating Eric Webber’s(me) throw by mere inches. Imagine watching your shot land, all smiles, thinking, “I’ve got this in the bag,” only for Kevin to walk up and say, “Hold my disc.”

A huge shoutout to Mark Kruse, our dedicated disc vendor who drives two hours just to keep us stocked with plastic. Not only does he have an amazing selection, but he’s so gracious he even donates money to the troop club. Mark's generosity makes him the real MVP—and let's face it, he's probably the only reason half of us have halfway decent discs in our bags!

All in all, it was a fantastic day filled with great throws, great people, and just enough smack talk to keep things interesting.

Walk ups are welcome in the morning. But if you are walking up to register in the morning you must arrive amd be at the registration table before 8:45am. See you all in the morning.

Please remeber to pack a lunch if you plan on eating. And charge up those phones. Everyone is required to keep score.

Due to the low registration we will not be providing lunch this time. Please plan accordingly. We will give approximately 45 minutes between rounds. Look forward to seeing you all there!
