2nd Annual Sunrise War Doubles at Picnic Island
About this tournament
We are excited to host the 2nd Annual Sunrise War Doubles at Picnic Island. LAST YEAR, THIS EVENT SOLD OUT, SO BE SURE TO REGISTER AS SOON AS YOU CAN. This will be a 1 day 2 round tournament at one of the most beautiful courses in Florida. This event will help raise money to cover entry fees and lodging for the Sunrise WAR team. For those unfamiliar, WAR is a competition between disc golf clubs across the entire state of Florida. This will be a guaranteed fun day - with the opportunity to win some cash, CTP’s, and a brand new disc golf basket!
DIVISIONS:
PRO (Players who typically play in MA1 or MPO with >935 rating)
REC (Players who typically play in MA3 or MA2 with <935 rating)
MIXED (Teams must be comprised of one male and one female)
TROPHIES:
Trophies will be awarded to the 1st place finishers in each division!
RAFFLE:
There will be a 50/50 raffle available during registration, so do take advantage of this. The 50/50 raffle will be drawn after the 2nd Round. Prize money will be split with the winner, and with the Sunrise WAR fund. EVERY person purchasing a 50/50 raffle ticket will be entered into a drawing to win a brand new disc golf basket!
MULLIGANS:
Mulligans are available for purchase during registration, and will be capped at 1 per person, per round. The $5 mulligan will give the individual player 3 additional shots of their choice. These are highly encouraged!
CTP’s:
These will be available on every hole BOTH rounds, with some even specific to each division.
ENTRY FEES
$40 Per Team
$20 to payout (Separate for each division)
$5 ace fund (Will be donated to Sunrise Disc Golf Club War Team if no aces are hit)
$15 donation to Sunrise War Team
FORMAT:
2 rounds of best-shot doubles
LAYOUTS
PRO will play from BLUE tee pads
REC will play from ORANGE tee pads
MIXED girls will play from the ORANGE pads, guys will play from the BLUE pads
All divisions will play the GCCO layout pin positions/colors of baskets listed below. CTP breakdowns for both rounds are also included:

Hole 2: C - Blue (Mixed 2nd shot CTP)
Hole 3: C - Blue (REC CTP)
Hole 4: B - Orange (All divisions CTP)
Hole 5: C - Blue (REC 2nd shot CTP)
Hole 6: C - Blue (MPO 2nd shot CTP)
Hole 7: B - Orange (All divisions CTP)
Hole 8: B - Orange (REC CTP)
Hole 9: B - Orange (Mixed CTP)
Hole 10: C - Blue (REC 2nd shot CTP)
Hole 11: C - Blue (MPO 2nd shot CTP)
Hole 12: A - Orange (Mixed CTP)
Hole 13: A - Orange (REC CTP)
Hole 14: A - Orange (All divisions CTP)

If playoffs are needed in any division, they will only occur for 1st place, or the final payout spot in the division. Playoffs will begin on Hole 16, and continue to Hole 17. If no winner is decided, there will be a CTP throw off on Hole 18.

Refund policy
Sunrise Disc Golf Club is responsible for all refunds and cancellations. Refunds will be processed through April 18th, at 7pm when registration closes.
