San Juan Basin Disc Golf Club is proud to present the SECOND annual San Juan Basin Ice Bowl!
This disc golf tournament will be a sanctioned C-tier event, with all proceeds to benefit ECHO Inc. to assist in our local communities food banks. Ice Bowl events all around the world have helped raise over $5 million dollars for charities since its inception in 1987 with billions of pounds of food donations.
To this cause, united with our sponsors such as Chasin Aces Disc Golf and Supply and others, we are very excited to bring this type of charitable outreach through disc golf to San Juan County.
Player packs for amatuers will include a color 2022 ice bowl pin, one disc of choice from the Chasin Aces Player Pack Box and lunch on Saturday, possibly Sunday. Payouts will be done through the Chasin Aces Disc Golf and Supply shop.
Player packs for pros will include a color 2022 ice bowl pin and 100% payout to the top 40% of the field. We will be offering a donation receipt for those that would like to donate part of all of their earnings as well as a prize for those who do!
We will be accepting food donations for raffle tickets!
If you would like to order some of the awesome ice bowl merchandise, please contact Jay and see what's available. You can add on $25, $50 or $100 to get discs, shirts, sweaters or whatever else may be available at the time.
Berg park and Westland park are two temporary courses in the area, along the Animas River. These course will be shorter versions of their previous selves of late. Course maps and uDisc mapping coming soon. San Juan College's layout will also be released soon.
PRO and MA1 will play different tee boxes or hole amounts i.e. Feb. 13th, PRO and MA1 will play 1 - 27 at San Juan College, while all other fields 1-9 twice at San Juan College.
Sponsorships are available for Hole Signs, Added Cash, and Raffle item donations. Your logo for your sponsorship will also be added to the media flyers, shouted out on all social medias and thanked during awards. All sponsorships are considered donations, and will be credited as such from our 501c3 nonprofit for 2022.
Cash donations will be split evenly between added cash for PRO divisions and donation to the beneficiary. All profits from the sale of Ice Bowl merchandise will also be donated to the beneficiary.
