We’ll post more details as we get closer to the start of the tournament. In addition, every player will receive a digital Players Handbook approximately 72-hours before the event with all the details for the event.
Friday, October 1st
If you’re looking for a little warm-up for the Rubber City Classic, we’re thrilled to announce the Brighten Brewing Brouhaha; an 11-hole non-sanctioned tournament followed by a Kickoff Party at Brighten Brewing in Copley.
Tournament
From 2:00pm - 6:00pm, a flex-start 11-hole tournament will be open to all players of the Rubber City Classic. The entry fee is two canned food items, which will be collected and distributed to help fight hunger in Ohio by CannbisCanOhio.org.
We’ll have four general (all ages, all genders) divisions (Open, Advanced, Intermediate, and Recreational). Players will choose the division which best fits them, with cards determined/assigned as players arrive. The winner of each division will receive a prize package, and we’ll have a CTP prize package for each division. Winners will be announced at the Kickoff Party following the event. If a winning player is not present, the prize will be awarded on Saturday.
All players will play the short tees on holes 1-10 & 18 using UDisc scoring. Players may start as early as 2:00pm and must tee off no later than 6:00pm.
Players Pack Pick-Up
In addition to the tournament, any amateur player may stop by Silver Creek Metro Park to pick up their Player’s Pack between 2:00pm and 7:00pm on Friday. Player Packs may also be picked up on Saturday prior to your tee time.
