2nd Annual Phoenix rising Event
The "ORANGE BOXES" event.
10x10 orange squares are laid out into the fairways of each hole, you may throw into the boxes or have it happen by chance. If you disc lands in one of the boxes then that minuses a stroke for you for that hole. It is possible to ace a 600ft PAR 4 with this event twist but be careful your greed can get the better of you very quickly and cause you to have a 6 on a PAR 3(we saw this happen several times last year).
The event goes as follows:
a singles round of the front nine is played from reds to give us a top pool and bottom pool. Then the two pools will draw cards to match one player from the bottom pool with one player from the top pool.
Then these teams will play a round of 18 from the blue tees as dubs partners.
Dependent on number of participants top 3(30-45 people) or 5(46-85) teams will be paid out.

IT DOES NOT INCLUDE YOUR GREENS FEES FOR TALL FIRS WHICH IS $5 DUE AT THE PRO SHOP BEFORE THE EVENT.
