2nd Annual Outta Bounds at Carter Tournament Driven by INNOVA
About this tournament
Welcome to the second annual Outta Bounds at Carter (O.B.A.C.) tournament! Last year we had a wonderful turnout for the inaugural tournament, and this year we hope to have an even better tournament.
In hopes to utilize the course to its fullest extent, this tournament will be challenging. Every hole will have out of bounds, mandos, or a combination of mandos with out of bounds; with the exception of Lucky Hole #13 where there will be no out of bounds or mandos. There will be 20 holes on the course: 18 permanent baskets along with 2 additional temporary holes.
Registration = 8:00 a.m. - 9:15 a.m.
Players meeting = 9:30 a.m.
Round 1 Tee-off = 10:00 a.m.
Hour from when the last card is turned in for lunch
Round 2 Tee-off following one hour break for lunch
This tournament serves a dual purpose. The first, and main, reason is to continue having a tournament at Carter Park for years to come. The second reason is to raise funds for course improvements. Part of the proceeds will go towards the Parks and Rec Department for the city of Bowling Green to make Carter Park an even more enjoyable course than it is now.
What's included with your entry? The first 50 AMATEUR registrants will receive a players pack. The players pack includes: Innova Cotton T-shirt; Premium Innova Disc; Innova Mesh Cap; DewFly Towel; Galactic Mini; Sticker Sheet; Innova Patch; and a $5 DGU Coupon. This is a $75 value, so make sure to sign up quickly to ensure you receive such a great deal! There will also be CTP's available for every hole in the 1st round.
Ken Rollins with MOODGolf will be setting up a store with a selection of discs at the clubhouse as well. Event details are subject to change via the Tournament Director.
More details will be added to this tournament as the date comes closer. Last year we had over $800 added in cash and sponsors, and many sponsors have gladly stated they will donate again. So I will update the list of sponsors once they have been confirmed. Additionally, the more people that continue to register for this event, the more we are able to raise for course improvements to make this an even better course.
Any and all changes may be made according to the Tournament Director.
*If you register within the final week leading up to the tournament, it is not guaranteed you´ll receive your player´s pack the day of the tournament. It will cost extra to have it shipped to you as well, so please register no later than July 22 to ensure that you´ll receive a player´s pack.
