This event will be an XC tier event! Therefore it is not rated.
MVP Circuit Challenges are a fun way to test new molds and plastics as well as challenge yourself to think outside the box, and we are excited to return to Panthorn Park in 2024 with DFX Discs behind us!
The Challenge will be a 2 round event, the first limited to the 3 disc Player’s Pack and the second being open bag. This event is an XC tier, so it will not count against/toward player rating.
MA4 will play both rounds on the Red layout, and is targeted at being friendly to beginners or those who have not played tournaments before. Don't be shy!
We will have prizes and CTPs throughout both rounds, thanks to DFX Discs! Some will be available to specific divisions, while others will be available to the entire field.
The discs in this year’s Player’s Pack discs are as follows:
• MVP Fission Watt, 2/5/-0.5/0.5: a laser straight putter perfect for shaping lines that finish soft - offered for the first time ever in Fission plastic!
• Streamline Eclipse Echo, 5/5/-0.5/1: a classic stable midrange with a familiar handfeel and no overmold - offered for the first time ever in Eclipse plastic (color glow - blue, teal, green, white, and purple)!
• Axiom Prism Neutron Trance, 8/5/-1/1.5: the new, hard to find darling of the Axiom fairway lineup - the Trance will be slightly understable for big arms and straight to overstable for smaller arms, flying somewhat akin to a faster Crave. Gorgeous, sparkly proton rims!
This year's Watermelon Proton offering is the Axiom Pitch, the Glitch's slightly understable cousin! Add one when you register or pick one up the day of!
We will have an hour long break after the last card finishes Round 1 for lunch and various activities, then resume play for Round 2.
Finally, if you throw MVP, Discraft, Discmania, Thought Space Athletics, Mint Discs, or Kastaplast - check out DFXdiscs.com!
*Card requests will be accepted until 7 days prior to the event (July 20th). After this, card requests are not guaranteed to be honored. TD reserves the right to collapse divisions depending on registration counts. less
