2nd Annual Birdies for Badges
About this tournament
This will be a flex start event. You and your friends can show up any time between 9:00am and 3:00pm. Each player will receive an Innova Roadrunner, Star and GStar plastics available. Come early for the best choices! Lunch will be provided from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.
This tournament is a fundraiser for Law Enforcement United (LEU). LEU is a non-profit, completely volunteer, organization that raises money for multiple law enforcement supportive organizations. At least 70% of the monies raised will go to Law Enforcement United. Only the cost of prizes, player packs and supplies for the tournament will not go to LEU. We are working hard to get as much of this donated so it can all go to the organization.
LEU donates money to Concerns Of Police Survivors (C.O.P.S.). This organization is a beacon of light and hope for survivors of officers killed in the line of duty. They host retreats for parents, spouses, co-workers, adult children but most important is the young children as well as many other resources. They host a C.O.P.S. Kid’s Camp each year so the children can come and be with other children that have experienced the same tragedy. The camp is fully funded so the children don't have to pay.
LEU also supports the Officer Down Memorial Page (ODMP). ODMP is an online location for the memories of officer killed in the line of duty to live on forever. Family, friend and supporters can read about the officer and leave memorial messages.
Finally, LEU provides monetary support to the Spirit of Blue Foundation. Spirit of Blue has made it their mission to provide life protecting/saving equipment to communities that cannot afford to provide them to their officers. This equipment has included bullet resistant vest, shields, tourniquets and rifles to list a few.
Thank you for assisting us in our mission to further these wonderful organizations.
