A huge thank you to all who came out to play this weekend in the 26th Annual Creekside Open Presented by Discraft.

This event would not have been a success without your participation - we had ZERO no-shows on Day 3 - which is amazing - and were lucky to have the weather and course conditions that we had.

Payouts are submitted and completed! Projected payouts were just slightly higher than actuals after PDGA fees were removed - but remained excellent - Another Round Salt L ... more

Greetings all!

A huge thank you to all who came out to play this weekend in the 26th Annual Creekside Open Presented by Discraft.

This event would not have been a success without your participation - we had ZERO no-shows on Day 3 - which is amazing - and were lucky to have the weather and course conditions that we had.

Payouts are submitted and completed! Projected payouts were just slightly higher than actuals after PDGA fees were removed - but remained excellent - Another Round Salt Lake footed the full $3000 added cash - $2250 more than needed for a B-Tier - and we were happy to do it. The goal of the shop is to support the community in every way possible - and we will continue to support this and other events in big ways in the future.

Special shoutouts to the team of Asst. TD's I had that made both AM and PRO weekend possible - Mandie Chamberlain is an all-star at check-in and course-intruder wrangling, Jacob Barham and Chandler Purtle held down the shop for me and helped with set-up and take down while I was busy with event prep and event days, and honorary Asst. TD AK Kaestner was vital in helping get baskets out and moved for me between rounds.

Thank you to Chris Norman and Greg Sorensen and the others who showed up before AM Weekend for a final Creekside Cleanup!

Thank you to Landed Footwear and Grip6 for supporting this event with CTP prizes and more!

Thank you to ALL of the past TD's of the Creekside Open who have set up such a phenomenal legacy for us to try our best to carry on.

Joseph Gocong was out shooting photos which will be made available in a followup email and Bad Throws Good Bros were out filming lead card footage for MPO which they will post in the coming weeks.

I went and took a look and made some changes to hole 18.
Hopefully it's clear from the caddy book - I've ATTACHED hole 18 to this email for reference, but here's the gist.

Between the tee and the hole, there will be a large section of OB / Hazard that starts about halfway down the fairway and goes to the "island" which will play at around C2. THERE ARE 2 LINES in the fairway, one for A-Pool (yellow flags) and one for B-Pool.

I went and took a look and made some changes to hole 18.
Hopefully it's clear from the caddy book - I've ATTACHED hole 18 to this email for reference, but here's the gist.

Between the tee and the hole, there will be a large section of OB / Hazard that starts about halfway down the fairway and goes to the "island" which will play at around C2. THERE ARE 2 LINES in the fairway, one for A-Pool (yellow flags) and one for B-Pool.

A-Pool - The area beyond the first row of flags (YELLOW FLAGS) / pink painted line will be OB. If you do go for it and do not cross the island in bounds at any point, you play BACK from where you crossed into OB.

B-Pool - The area beyond the SECOND row of flags (PINK FLAGS) / pink painted line will be Hazard. If you land in the area beyond the pink flags, play it from the spot it is in with a stroke.

ROUND 2 WILL BEGIN AT 1:45 - PLEASE GATHER AT THE PAVILLION NO LATER THAN 1:30 to meet with your cards and get to your holes. NO players meeting, just do not be late to your hole. Cheers! See you all for round 2!

A FEW NOTES:

1. The waitlist is now divisional to account for not having to shuffle cards every time there is / if there is a drop.

2. You MUST check-in by 8:45 - if we have waitlisters on stand-by who are ready and willing to play - it is at the TD discretion to remove a no-show and then add another player to fill the event.

3. Please read the caddy book thoroughly this evening to help limit any issues tomorrow. This will help maintain pace of play and keep things moving.

CREEKSIDE BASKETS MOVED INTO AM WEEKEND POSITIONS. Notes: Temp baskets on 8, 16, A, B, C are not there, and will not be until day of event. I placed them in some fun spots on the main layout. Hole 10 plays to 12A and is a ton of fun. Ams - MA1 / MA2 have a few different tee pad positions to help with ratings / keeping it fun for all. Notes are on the layouts.
