The Tar Heel Open is returning in 2025 as an A tier! The 24th installment of this tournament will be a 3 round tournament with tee times for all divisions on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, one round each day. This format allows us to maximize the size of the field so we can share our course with as many players as possible! If any division has fewer than 3 players registered, we will talk to those players to potentially merge them with another division. This event is a part of the NC points series.

We are projecting at least $6000 ADDED CASH going into the pro division payouts this year!

The current ”Longs” layout on Udisc (par 57), is close to what will become the tournament layout, but we're finalizing new teepad placements on holes 10, 14, 17, and 18 for this year's event! The new pads will be playable roughly a month before the tournament.

Tee times will begin at 8 AM each day in 10 minute intervals, ending roughly around 3:30 PM (more detailed tee times will be available by division after we see how registration shakes out for the divisions):

All amateur player's packs will be valued at $50 and the divisions with higher registration fees will have the additional value added via merchandise payouts.

Withdrawal deadlines:
Pros Tuesday May 13th at noon
Amateurs Wednesday May 7th at noon (earlier due to player's pack preparation)

Tee times will be announced in the evening on Wednesday May 14th.

After the corresponding deadline, you will not receive a refund. Amateur player's dropping after their deadline can still pick up their player's pack.
