Can we request to play with certain people? Not sure how feasible it'd be with 140+. Tia!

I was hoping Fermin too since he's never played Cruz and is newer to the sport

In UDisc, edit your registration and you can select which hole to start and coordinate with your buddies accordingly. In the email and FB post, it has screen shots to show you how.

Thanks Flo!

Is Rillito playing to Long or Short Baskets? I'm guessing long but don't want to assume

B pads to red (long) baskets.

Hey, which divisions are in group A and which are group B?

Check out the event on Udisc, it has pools and course on there.

I hate I just found this. I am new to Tucson and I'd love to become active in the club and local play. I committed to introducing the game to some friends of mine this weekend.

They’re are plenty of leagues to play and you can buy a tag to become a member anytime during the year. Welcome to Tucson!

James Galloway-Reed    January 8 at 3:18pm

How can I get a tag if I can’t make it this weekend?

I can make sure you get one

I'm reading this is a "membership drive", but is not PDGA sanctioned. Why or why not? I'm new to this membership game... Is this joining the club/a form of membership or supporting the organization and the mission for outreach and supporting the next generation?!?

Just trying to understand the purpose of the event. I've volunteered and been involved in many non-profits, and am seeking clarity. Thanks in advance. Big advocate of the sport despite my unnatural abilities. ;)

It is not sanctioned. It’s an annual bag tag/membership tournament to support the Tucson Disc Golf Association club. When you register you become a member of the club and you get a numbered tag, the better you score, the lower your tag number will be. It supports the club as whole for future events, course improvements and etc. hope that helps clarify!

Thank you Emma! I very much appreciate the quick response and local advocation. I played in a few disc golf tournaments in Ohio over the holidays and it was a different experience to mine in Oregon and Arizona.

We’re a pretty cool group of Tucson people! I hope you can make it out to play this weekend. You’ll meet lots of cool people.

Is there a way to register for either A or B pools specifically to determine the order of where one would play? Sounds like a WESTSIDE challenge of sorts.

Dylan M. May be able to help you with the pools. Unfortunately groves XL wasn’t an option at the time. I’m hoping by next year it can get cleaned up and used.
