About this tournament
Welcome to the 2025 JELLC Tournament Director Symposium, hosted by Jacquart Events LLC.
This inaugural JELLC symposium will feature focused sessions where subject experts will share their knowledge and experiences on efficiently and effectively hosting small to large disc golf tournaments while ensuring financially soundness. The event will include interactive discussions with attendees, lead by the producer of the Las Vegas Challenge. Guest speakers, still being determined, will actively engage with participants.
HOST: Jeff Jacquart - With over 25+ years as a Tournament Director, Mr. Jacquart brings extensive experience, including:
• Elite TD: 3 years
• National Tour TD: 3 years.
• A-Tier TD: 20+ years.
• PDGA Dir. of Competition: 2 seasons (encompassing all 22 Majors).
• PDGA Nevada State Coordinator: 6 years.
• Las Vegas Disc Golf Club Board Member: 17 years.
• Disc Golf Camp for Kids TD: 2 summers.
• Course Designer: 10+ years.
• Pro Purses: Exceeding $1 million.
• Player Packages: Exceeding $500,000.
• Accommodatiopns: 3,000+ "unique" players.
• Event Budget: Balancing $500,000 to $750,000 annually.
• Event Fulfillment: 2,000+ individuals including players, caddies, volunteers, vendors,
media, and spectators).
EVENT DETAILS:
• Dates: Monday, January 27, through Wednesday, January 29, 2025.
• Venue: Wildhorse Golf Club, Banquet Room.
• Participants: Minimum of 20 required to cover facility charges. (Delay booking hotel and travel costs until this minimum is nearly met.)
• Host hotel: In contract negotiations.
• Registration Fee: $100 until 10/31, $125 after 10/31 & until 12/31, $150 after 12/31.
• Meals Included: Light breakfast and lunch buffet provided daily.
• Evening Activities: TBD, but likely hosted off-site dinners on Monday & Tuesday.
• Early Bird Special: The first 50 registered attendees will receive an extensive "Tournament Director package.
• Disc Golf Play: A few holes at the close of each day, with design anaylsis discussed the following morning.
