Good evening NADGTers, including the waitlisters.
This is your email / caddy book for the event. Please be sure to read everything as I will be assessing penalty strokes if you ask a question that are answered in this email. ????
First, I want to take a minute to acknowledge what this weekend means for the USA. This is the weekend we remember those that fought for our country and did not make it home. Those that put their lives on the line for the greater good in keeping the world safer and making it a better place to be. There are a lot of things people may not agree on nowadays, but I hope we can all come together to remember those that served us. Thank you to those that gave it their all.
In regards to the tournament:
Check in is from 7am to 8am with round 1 start promptly at 815am. I want to keep a very tight schedule here because the weather is not looking favorable for us Sunday. Please bring an umbrella and a change of socks. Below is the PDGA guideline on inclement weather.
https://www.pdga.com/rules/competition-manual/107
If you hear 3 blasts from the airhorn, that means a lightning strike has happened within a 15 mile radius of the event. We will be on a weather delay so mark your lies and head to the nearest shelter or your car. The weather delay will be 30 minutes unless there is another lightning strike, at which point it will start the 30 minute clock again.
I am hopeful we can get through round 1 with it being forecasted as just light rain in the morning. The 2nd round is looking to be a bit sketchy but I am also hopeful those weather nerds are wrong. I do need everyone's help in making sure the rate of play is moving at a good pace.

Players will get their players pack at check in of a hat, premium disc from MINT, and a third item. Players who signed up late will need to get their third item during the lunch break and will be a selection of what is available.

Sorry that there haven't been many events for NADGT from me, its been a weird year so far but we got 3 more coming down the line.
Next NADGT event will be August 2nd down at the Aviary.
And then in September, there is the Tour De SoCo when Saturday the 13th will be at Pueblo, and Sunday the 14th will be at Widefield. I have much excite for that!
As always, thank you all and see you Sunday!!
