There were three 10's taken on the day, two on hole 5 white, and one on hole 12 white.
The longest streak of consecutive birdies was 4 by Justin Michaud - Round 1, holes 2-5, and Brendan Houser - Round 2, holes 10-13.
Brendan Houser was the only player to birdie hole 12 on the day and he did it twice!
MPO
Holes 4, 11, 12, and 15 were the only holes not birdied by the field.
Robert had the only birdie of the day on blue 3, 7, 9 (twice), and 18.
Blake had the only birdie of the day on blue 14 and 17.
Robert Saunders, playing the tournament blind, almost came back to force a playoff with Blake Hohlbein. Robert shot a +7 in round one and came back with a solid -5 in round two. Hohlbein shot +1 and E. With 2 holes to play, Robert was only 2 back. Hohlbein was able to birdie (3) the 17th with a long putt to go ahead by 3 throws going into the ever difficult hole 18. Hohlbein threw a short drive off of the tee of 18 while Robert and Liam threw beautiful drives. Hohlbein's second cut rolled into the casual water. Robert was able to throw a beautiful second shot into the circle, putting the pressure on Blake to get up and down for bogey. Blake had to take relief on the line of play which was a good 60ft back because of the angle with the water, but was able to putt his throw to about 20ft. Blake should have laid up the putt under the basket with the terrifying drop off green and raised basket but he ran the putt and it.... hit the band and dropped straight back just a few feet away. He was able to put in a nervy putt to secure the win.
Lead held by Liam for 2 holes (hole 2 of first round & hole 6 of first round), Robert 1 hole (hole 3 of first round). Lead held by Blake from hole 10 of round 1 through the rest of the tournament.
