About this tournament

Welcome to the first PDGA-sanctioned tournament held in Gander NL, hosted in collaboration with Gander Disc Golf! This two-round event is the second stop on the inaugural Disc Golf NL Tour and will be held at the Gander Nordic Disc Golf Course, a 9-hole course set in the trails of the Airport Nordic Ski Club. The course will likely be receiving upgrades this summer and the layout for the tournament will be finalized in the week before the tournament, which will include high quality baskets and likely added holes. A detailed caddy book will be sent to registered players before the event.

All divisions will play two rounds with shotgun starts on Saturday morning and afternoon. Each round will likely consist of a temporary 18-hole layout. Tee times will be posted on PDGA soon after registration closes. If you miss registration and would like to play, please just reach out. We will likely be able to squeeze you in.

This is a PDGA-sanctioned C-tier tournament. Pass through fees (i.e., included with registration) include a $3 PDGA fee and $5 Disc Golf NL Tour series fee. All non-PDGA members must pay a $15 temporary membership fee at registration (juniors are exempt).

This is a trophy-only event for amateurs, with all players receiving a player pack and trophies for the top finishers. There may be additional prizes for winners. Pros play for cash.

The Disc Golf NL Tour is a series of disc golf tournaments held across the province. Each event is run with a local affiliated club with support from Disc Golf NL. Players in the following divisions will receive points at each event: MPO/FPO, MA1/FA1, MA2/FA2, MA40/FA40, MJ18/FJ18, MJ15/FJ15. A player's season score will include their best two main events plus their points from Provincials.
