Thanks so much KJ and congrats to all the winners! While the course was a bit more than us flatland Zephyrheads are used to, we all had a marvelous time. Congrats also to the State Champions from the Republic of Maine. It appears we were sunk when Cappy went out with leg cramps at the beginning of round 2. It was great meeting and playing with all the Mainerds and we're looking forward to the next challenge. Zephyr Up!

A minor correction to scoring in the Amateur Division has been made.
Alan. B.'s Round # 2 score was changed from 54 to 59.
This led to Andrew M. moving up to solo 7th place, and a three-way tie for 8th with Alan B, RJ B., and Valiant W. splitting $30 for $10 each.
Appropriate payments to each player involved have been sent via PayPal.
I apologize for the error, and thank Alan for reporting it, and John M. for ringing it to my attention.
(In my poor defense - the 59 on the scorecard does look like a 54 in poor light)
Thank you.
KJ

Jay is correct.

No. Looks good KJ! Is the Ohio island life size?

14 of us from Maine will be in town Thursday night. Our plan is to play a practice round Friday morning. Is there any interest from anyone else playing in a $5 random doubles round Friday afternoon at some point? It will give us a chance to meet some people before the event.

Also, Ohio and NY, we need a side bet. Top 8 scores combined from each state? Top 10? Most people from each state in the top 10?

Nice. The Zainiacs be representin’! Friday dubs sounds cool but the Zephyrheads have our team spa scheduled that day at the Buffalo Westin rooftop. We may be able to move it to Monday or Tuesday tho. Regarding the team challenge, we’re liking the top 10 score’s from different pla ... more

Due to unforeseen circumstances this year's tournament is moving to Browns's Farm, a fantastic private course about 45 miles south of Buffalo NY in South Dayton NY. This course was originally designed by Granddaddy Brown with assistance from former WNYer John Houck, and is best known as the longtime host course for the Can-Am Cup team match-play tournament. The course address is 8744 S Dayton Silver Creek Rd. South Dayton NY 14138. Coordinates: 42.38106° N, 79.06860° W

Thanks or the update KJ. With the sponsorship, are we able to send over artwork for a sign of any kind?

Haha! Hoping to register a couple more Mainers on the 5th! I don't think we can overtake those New York numbers, but we are coming for you Ohio!

Chuck Custer   July 5 at 3:05pm

One of the Zephyrheads is actually of Venezuelan descent and if you’ve ever met Cappy you’d know he is not of this planet. As for the Mainerds, we’d like to thank them for their sponsorship and look forward to zinging some Zephyrs with ya! Leave your Glitches at home.

Kevin Jacobs    June 28 at 11:34pm

Thank you sponsors!

Stoked to bring down a van full of Mainers for this event. Is registration really going to go live at midnight, or will that time be updated at some point?
