Welcome to the 2024 The Birdie and the Beast! Started in 2016 as the Sunday event of Downtown Throwdown weekend, we split this off into its own separate weekend and it has become our largest disc golf event at our parks in Jasper! And for the first time in quite a while, we're doing Innova for our main sponsor!
PDGA B-Tier, so you must be a PDGA member to sign up.
Open: $75, Am: $60
$750 added cash for Open
Payouts for Open to be by PayPal or check; please use the Notes/Comments section on your registration to specify which you prefer in the event you cash
Trophies to top finisher in each division with three or fewer players, top two with 4-5 players, and top three with over five players. Amount of trophies to be ordered will be determined on signups for each division as of July 6. If signups increase so that a division increases to a higher level, we will attempt to order more, but we cannot guarantee that we will be able to get them or to get them by the date of the event.
Am player pack to include:
- Tournament-stamped Innova premium plastic driver or midrange
- Tournament-stamped Innova DX plastic putter or midrange
- JDG-stamped Innova Luster or MF Champion mini
- Tournament t-shirt
- Tournament pint glass
- Tournament Bryant Bag dry sack
$100 T-shirt sponsorship: name/business on T-shirt plus two tee signs at each course
$25 Hole sponsorship: name/business on one tee sign at each course
Optional $5 ace pot. If no aces, we will have a throw-off at each course with the winners each getting half.
Withdrawals: Withdrawals must be made before 8:00 PM on July 19 to receive a refund. Any withdrawals after that time for Ams will be entitled to receive their player pack. If you no-show and do not contact us by start time, then you will forfeit your entry fee and player pack.
Pool A: All Open divisions (MP and FP) plus MA1, MA40+, and MA2
Pool B: All other divisions
Please note that we will start Pool B at The Eagle at 8:30 AM and Pool A at North Jasper at 9:00 AM; this is to help with the amount of time needed to complete each respective course
Pool A will play North Jasper in the first round and The Eagle in the second; Pool B will play The Eagle and then North Jasper.
