My bad, I didn't get the updated email

Good evening! Tomorrow is the big day :)

Any thoughts on the conditions with tee pads at AP? They are currently a mud pit and fairly dangerous

Rubber boots is going to be an option.

Rebecca Johnson   May 18 at 1:55am

Hi Craig. Players will be allowed to tee off from behind the tee area at Aperture Park tomorrow. Your starter will have info on this and we will send out an email to the group.

is there secure camping near the course

Hi Tim. The Lethbridge KOA is less than 10 minutes from each of the courses and is a very secure, nice campground right in the city.

thank you

Hello, I would like to withdraw from the tournament if I can still get a refund but I don't see an email to send the request to.

Hi Zachary, there is a withdrawal option under the players tab on DGS but, I can just take care of this for you. Sorry you can’t make it.

What is this event's policy regarding underpopulated divisions? I'm asking because I'm considering registering for MP70 but it looks as though I'll be the only one, and even if I switch to MA70 there'll only be two of us.

Hi Robert! MA70, MP70, MA80 and MP80 will go ahead regardless of the number of players. If you end up being the only player in MP70 you can decide to switch divisions if you like but, we will not make you move. We are delighted to have 70+ age division players and will do everything we can to make you have an enjoyable experience!

Are all the teepads assignments set in stone? Most tournaments MA1 will play different teepads from MA2/3, and instead play the same teepads to MPO. Just wondering why MA1 isn't also playing blues at Nicholas Shearan? It's why I like MA1 over MA2. Longer teepads :D
Thank you

Pretty much all tournaments I've played, MA1 was a longer tee than MA2, with a couple exceptions where the course itself did not allow. But any tournament with multiple tees like Nicholas Shearan, MA1 always played the same layout as MPO.

Justin Westerhoud   March 12 at 7:34pm

Hi Christopher, the teepad assignments have been finalized so there will not be any further changes being made. With the overall length of the Nicholas Sheran course (almost 10,000ft in tournament layout) we feel it is a little too difficult for the average MA1 player to play from the blue tees. If ... more

Thank you for your quick response and explanation Justin :D

Sorry, Second question, will you have a female only ace pot available for those who just wanted to play in the WGE portion of this?

Rebecca Johnson   February 10 at 8:40pm

All players will play all 3 rounds. All players will have equal opportunity to pay into and win ace pot money. There will be additional prizing and player packs for women’s divisions.

Jeri-Ann Brownbridge    February 10 at 7:57pm

out of curiosity being that you are combining the WGE with another event in the running how will you separate this so that the women are not being propagated by the men? I only ask because the WGE for the most part is to compare the women with other women the same day across the world. So I am just curious as to how this will work. Maybe I missed it in the write up if so I apologize in advance.

2024 Spring Runoff was scheduled for the May long weekend prior to the WGE date being announced. When we learned of the WGE date, we took the opportunity to offer our female players the chance to have their first two rounds included in the global standings, and to receive an extra players pack at no ... more
