I got it! You’re taken care of!

Adrian Thomas-Eikmann    June 27 at 4:04pm

Ace Run Roasting / Birdie Fuel will be providing a limited amount of free coffee on Friday. I’m playing the event so I won’t have a full booth set up. I’ll gauge how much coffee is consumed on Friday and then consider whether or not I’ll need/want to bring a bigger set up for Saturday (generator, brewer, etc).
The plan for Sunday is to have a small set up with free hot coffee again and my son selling cold brew and some merch in the vending area at The Veer.

I understand no practice at the veer. Will we be able to walk the course on Thursday?

Kevin OConnor    June 27 at 1:22am

Course Layouts and Additional Information emails have been sent out. Please check and make sure you received it

Is there going to be any sort of Warm-up area for Throwing at the Veer? Practice baskets?
Thanks

Kevin OConnor   June 25 at 8:34pm

Yes!! There will be a driving range and at least two practice baskets

Reed Key    June 25 at 2:18pm

Not sure if this helps but there will be closures on the I5 this weekend. Plan your travels accordingly

So everyone is just playing the final round completely blind having never played it? That seems kind of messed up to be honest considering how much we paid to play this event

Nathaniel Smith   June 24 at 2:43pm

The Veer has been around for a few years now and although it’s not a permanent course, it’s permanent enough that there have been tournaments and casual rounds offered over that time.

Nathaniel Smith   June 24 at 2:44pm

Which is to say, I know a few folks in this tourney who have played it. Would be nice to get some practice rounds but that’s on Metro to provide the times

Kevin OConnor   June 24 at 6:12pm

Andrew, I do understand the issue with this and have done all i can to request practice days. the course management has not budged. If this is a major issue for you i would happy to issue you a full refund. otherwise, all i can do is apologize.

Ben Baker    June 24 at 1:34am

Is The Veer a combination of East and West holes, or completely unique holes? I’m hoping to watch some past video coverage to study up!

It isn't, hole 1 is on the east side and plays downhill! Tee pad is by the ball golf putting green

Kevin OConnor   June 25 at 12:05am

I’ll be sending out a map soon

Ben Baker   June 27 at 4:02am

Could you be a little more specific? Like is there a stretch of holes on the Veer that’s the same as a certain stretch of holes on Glendoveer West?

Doug Moore    June 23 at 2:34am

Hey Kevin, with only three MP50 players signed up, will that be a division? If not, I’d like to switch to MA50 if possible. My game has gone seriously downhill lately and I can’t keep up with the MP guys.

Kevin OConnor   June 23 at 2:41am

It will be a division. And unfortunately ma50 is full

John Boyko    June 23 at 2:13am

Hi Kevin,
I’m trying to verify if you got my payment and can update my tee time so that I can plan my trip out there. Thank you my pdga#48972

Kevin OConnor   June 23 at 10:12pm

Yessir! you have been added and we got your payment. thanks!

Andrew Burri    June 21 at 6:06am

No update on if we get to practice on the Veer?

Kevin OConnor   June 23 at 12:01am

Sorry, we officially got the word that we will not be able to get practice days at the veer. We will work with the course to assure this gets fixed for next year.

Rusty Byers    June 20 at 7:07pm

Are the tee times going to be consistent for the 3 days? Have we had confirmation of the players pack? Will pins be moved Friday after play at pier to practice longs before Saturday?

Kevin OConnor   June 20 at 7:23pm

The tee times ranges for divisions will be consistent throughout the weekend. The players pack is outlined in the email that was sent to players earlier today. Pier Park baskets will be moved Friday evening after all play has concluded. This will allow for practice that evening.

Kevin OConnor   June 20 at 7:26pm

Also! Pier park will move into the Friday tournament layout starting this Friday June 21st

Rusty Byers   June 20 at 7:31pm

Thank you! I just saw your email that pretty much answered the questions! Appreciate all your efforts getting this tournament together!✌️

Danny Nieh    June 19 at 11:12pm

Just saw the new tee pad on 9–will that be in play?

Kevin OConnor   June 19 at 11:58pm

very likely. we will be sending out initial player info email tonight with pier park layout info

Adrian Thomas-Eikmann    June 15 at 2:48pm

Wanted to play this event so first time playing Pro! Guaranteed podium spot so far hahaha!!! Is it too late logistically to sponsor a tee sign?

Kevin OConnor   June 20 at 7:24pm

We have got you in for a tee sign Adrian!

Andrew Barlow    June 14 at 8:33am

If the last few spots don’t fill for their assigned divisions will the waitlist get in?

Kevin OConnor   June 14 at 2:41pm

Depending on card make up. I have to keep ams and pros together and no 5somes. So we shall see

Rey Rudek-Larson    June 13 at 7:56pm

We need practice days at The Veer!!!

Kevin OConnor   June 14 at 12:20am

Heard!

Rey Rudek-Larson   June 21 at 2:50pm

I totally understand it is out of your control. Mainly just saying it so that is Glendoveer sees they could offer a day. Appreciate all the hard work!

Shawn kingman    June 13 at 7:30pm

Any word on what will be in the AMs players packs

Kevin OConnor   June 13 at 7:44pm

Yes! I will be announcing the players pack this weekend along with the layouts for all courses. We’ve been adding to it!

Andrew Burri    June 12 at 10:18pm

Will we be able to practice at The Veer before the tournament?

Jon Wilson   June 13 at 12:34am

Look below , it looks like it's no dice for us on practice rounds

Kevin OConnor   June 13 at 7:45pm

We are using your comments to show the course we need practice days. Hopefully we will break through

Chelsi Taylor    June 11 at 3:44pm

For The Veer, it shows All Long Pins, however from my understanding, there are only short and long tee pads. Do you know what layout FA1 will be playing? There are a couple of holes where OB makes it impossible to clear OB from longs vs shorts. Just curious, thank you

Kevin OConnor   June 12 at 6:01pm

FA1 will play a modified layout for the Veer. I’ll be updating that this weekend as we make final decisions on the course

Chelsi Taylor   June 13 at 8:53pm

Thank you so much :) Can't wait to see it
