2024 PFC Ironman
About this tournament
5 Courses, 100 Holes in 1 day! Can YOU survive 100 holes in 1 day? Test your self and become the most powerful disc golfer in the Peoria-area: PFC's Iron Man!
CENTRAL TRANSPORTATION! No need to drive, pay for gas, worry about traffic, or be concerned with being at the course on time! This event will have a bus transport ALL players from Morton, to each course, and back. You're welcome!
This is a PFC Fundraiser event. PFC's mission is to develop, grow, and maintain the sport of disc golf in the Peoria area. The money raised through PFC's is used to acquire equipment for new courses, maintenance tools for keeping courses clean, merchandise and clinics for youth, and more!
Times:
Registration/Check-in from 6:00-6:20 AM at Northwood Park's main pavilion in Morton, IL.
6:30 AM: Tee off Northwood Black Shorts
The field will be limited to 60 players (~3 per hole and max bus load).
There is only one division, however there are multiple prize opportunities!
Entry Fee: $35
Entry Fee Details:
- $1 goes to PFC to help support the mission of disc golf education and development!
- $10 goes to central transportation. You won't need to worry about gas or travel time!
- Sponsored Refreshments thanks to Powergrip USA!!! Bottles of water will be provided, but only during the bus ride, so be sure to load up before heading out on the course! Some snacks will be provided as well. There should be more than enough for everyone, but be prepared and PACK A LUNCH!
- $5 of your entry fee will cover an ace pot which will be split across all aces. This is a PFC event, so PFC's rollover Ace Pot is up for grabs! If no aces, funds go to PFC's rollover Ace Pot.
- $19+ of your entry fee will go toward Awards and Prizes:
- All players receive a $5 voucher to Powergrip USA in Bloomington!
- Top 33% of scores will be paid out in PFC Bucks.
- 2 CTPs per course. Prize is $10 in PFC Bucks, and repeat winners are allowed.
- Achievements are paid with a $5 voucher to Powergrip USA, and more:
- THE Ironman: Fewest Throws (Stroke play winner)
- Best Avenger: Most Birdies or Better Holes
- PARty Boy: Most Pars
- Bogey Incoming!: Most Bogey+ Holes
- International Hero: Farthest Traveled to Play
- Man of Steel: Oldest Competitor
- Ironboy: Youngest Competitor
- Scavenger: Most Lost Discs
- The Iron Arm: Most Throws
