Here is all of the information from DD concerning the Poker Tournament tonight (Thursday 6/13):

It's ok if they still need to register. They can walk up/register on-site (Champions Landing, 1801 Rural St).

Check-in starts at 5:30
$10 to play (cash or card)
$10 re-buys thru the 1st three blinds (20 mins each)

Cash bar on-site
Can bring their food into the building or purchase from the bar and grill downstairs

Prizes are merchandise payouts to the DD Pro Shop and ZUCA Carts for the top winners.

The Vendor Village is at 4th Ave and Commercial St.

Bar Crawl Stops Mulready's, Radius, 627 Event Space, Bourbon Cowboy, Charlie's Place, and Trolley House Distillery!

Do I have to go to all the stops?
Nope! You can go where you want. When you are done, bring your lanyard to the Emporia Main Street tent on 4th Ave and Commercial St to be entered to win some gift certificates!

What is happening on 4th Ave downtown?
There will be disc golf vendors, food trucks, and beer from 6 to 10 p.m. You do not have to have a lanyard to come in, and admission is free and open to the public!

Hi thanks for an awesome tournament, I really had a great time. I was originally on the waitlist for MA60 and then moved into MA55. I just wanted to verify that my tournament counts towards the DGMT. I had originally signed up for that and the Distance competition, but I didn’t see my name in the latter so I just wanted to make sure that my points still go towards DGMT.
Thanks again for doing this awesome competition, you all really pulled through given the adverse conditions and we really appreciate it!

Anyone know the answer to this? If I happen to make the semifinal of MA40, which is highly unlikely at this point and I don’t play in it and DNF, is this a DNF for entire tournament? I don’t wan ... show more ›

If I happen to make the semifinal of MA40, which is highly unlikely at this point and I don’t play in it and DNF, is this a DNF for entire tournament? I don’t want to risk that. Thinking of changing flight home to Saturday AM instead of Sunday and it’s currently available to change to Saturday. Not sure it will be available still after my Friday round.

WOW!! Wish I could have been there to experience the back 9 of Kanza View!! Eric McCabe said on his course preview video that you need to score on the front, because the back is grizzly and challenging. Hope my number crunching is close to accurate. 3 Pro divisions played Kanza and 27 of 97 players broke par. None of the 138 players in the 3 Am divisions broke par. Here are some Grizzly numbers for the Ams on the back nine. For the 138 players, there were only 34 birdies on the back nine. 138 players playing 9 holes!! That's 34 birdies in 1,242 holes!! And 28 of those birdies were on hole 16. The MA70's had the least amount of players (32), so I started with them for some further number crunching. On the back nine they had only four birdies. And on the other side of that, they were 500 over par!! For nine holes!! In the video, Eric made it look easy. Sure is, if you can throw a putter on a line for 350'. Grizzly and challenging looks to be accurate for the back nine of Kanza View.

I had terrible flight delays on both my first leg and second leg of my travel here today. I missed the player meeting and the player check-in. However, I'm at my hotel here in Emporia and am prepared to tee off tomorrow morning at 8am. I want to make sure that when I show up at the tee-pad I'm all squared away and good to go. Can someone on the tournament staff help me confirm that that's the case?

Is there anyone in the MA50 that is teeing off after 3pm that might be able to help a fellow brother out. My wife is out at Peter Pan at 12:02 tee time and I want to leave her the car, if I could get a ride to Olpe from Peter Pan from whatever time you deem appropriate, it would be greatly appreciated. My tee time is 3:58. I just have my bag and cart.

Stamp Your Competitor Disc is at the Dynamic Discs Headquarters from 9 AM-6 PM today and 8 AM and 4 PM tomorrow. The DD HQ address is 840 Overlander Rd, Emporia, KS 66801. You can take your competitor badge in to get punched and stamp a disc. You can also take your competitor badge to the Sweet Granada (next door to the Granada Theatre where you are checking in) to get a free chocolate bar!
